Guest Jesse
The KJV. Psalms 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Because the kjv is the seventh version. The first is erasmus I think, and the second tyndale, cloverdale, geneva etc. jesse.

Context, context, context. Read the verse in the context of the entire Psalm and it is clear it is not talking about scriptures but rather the words one speaks. That's kind of hard to disagree with..... but we do get things that come across now and then.... makes the place interesting anyway..

It is not unusual that I may check 15 - 20 translations on subjects of contention.
