Ephesians 6:7-8 echoes this by saying "serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men, because you know that the Lord will reward everyone for whatever good he does, whether he is slave or free. We need to work-thats part of life, and we need to do it to the best of our abilities. The Bible doesn't specify exactly what careers we do-as long as theyre not somehting that goes against his command-like running a prostition ring or bartending, but it does say we need to do our best.
