Luke 2:1. Notice some translations have the word Roman in it. Most don't. Does that surprise you? If you research the Greek, you won't see ROMAN in there. ( I couldn't find it.). So why do some translations add this? I'm not telling you. http://biblehub.com/luke/2-1.htmhttp://biblehub.com/text/luke/2-1.htm

Odd.  But I did notice that if you use the same site to check the book of Revelation chapter 13 the Greek word is different. References to the Beast ruling the World is the Greek word(s) for 'Earth'. Whereas in Luke 2:1 the Greek word translates as 'inhabited World'. That suggests to me that the End Times reign of the Beast does refer to the entire Earth and not the Roman world as mentioned in Luke.

I have been flirting with some really extravagant ideas that if proved true would turn out rather interesting. I don't voice them much because I have thought I had it all figured out before and proved wrong. Either way it is getting weirder by the day. I'm not telling you or anyone what to think or what conclusions to draw. Everyone has to do their own homework and figure it out for themselves. It's worth more to you that way, not when someone spoon feeds it to you. Can't you tell I'm a teacher.

I have been studying the English language and doing comparison/contrast to other languages only to find that the dynamics of the Ebglish language give us more ways to say the exact same thing using wotds that look and sound completely different.
