Hi OneLight,

Thank you for your answer. Now you said -

``A glorified body that can appear and disappear at any time. If Jesus can only be in one place at a time now, since He was once human, is He no longer God? We, as a human, think as humans. Jesus was, is, and will always be God. He can be anywhere, at any time, even if that means He is at more than one place at the same time. When Jesus was on earth, He was bound to His earthly body. He no longer is bound this way.

Since God is the Father, the SOn and the Holy Spirit, and God is omniscience, omnipotence and omnipresence, Do you believe that Jesus is not omnipresence?
`

I think I can see what you are saying -  `Do I believe that Jesus in His glorified body is Omnipresent?`

Now this is the amazing, utterly wonderful revelation of our Lord, that He has a glorified body that we will also have. He is Kin, (related) to us, for He is our Head, & we the Body. He is the King Priest of a whole new order of kingpriests. He is King over all kings....He is recognisable, able to be seen & related to....He can go through dimensions, realms etc & manifest in this world.

Christ is the `fullness of Deity`.... `in bodily form.` (Col. 2: 9)

I believe that God`s word tells us that Christ is God, (Spirit) as is the Holy Spirit & the Father, & that Christ also has a glorified human form. If Christ was just a spirit then we would not have that close ability to relate to Him. That was the ultimate purpose of God to bring many sons TO GLORY. Not just have sons on this earth, which He will have, but sons in glorified bodies able to dwell in the realms above where we can relate in a most intimate way - heart to heart & be involved in creating more wonders in the ages to come.

Christ is Omnipresent by His Holy Spirit, & all knowing & all powerful, yet has a recognisable body that is an expression that He took on our humanness. Thus I cannot separate Christ from all of who He is.

Shalom, Marilyn, and Happy New Year (Ro'sh HaShanah)!

Yeshua` also "was human, is human, and will always be human!" He frequently called Himself, the "Son of man." That phrase means that He is a "true human being." In Hebrew, the word for "a man" is "Aadaam," pronounced "Aw-dawm." It's the same as the name of the first man, Adam. The word means "red" because he was formed from the "red clay." The phrase "Son of man" in Hebrew is "beeyn aadaam." Remember: In Hebrew, there are technically NO vowels in their "alefbet" (alphabet). The alef, the first letter in the "alefbet," is the explosive sound that you hear at the beginning of our words "egg" and "umbrella." That is the first letter in "Aadaam" before the first "aa" ("aw") sound. The other two letters are the "dalet" ("D") and the "meim" ("M"). They are also the SAME three letters in "Edom," which also means "red" for the "red pottage" for which he sold his birthright.

Hi Retrobyter,

Thank you for the word pronunciations & meanings, they were very helpful, re - the Son of Man. Adds a depth to our understanding of who Christ is & what he has done, is doing & will do.

The Apostle John was given an amazing revelation of Christ in Rev. 1: 13. Here the Lord is described `like the son of man.` So although He has a recognisable human form He is now glorified & exalted above all.

I believe that the more we understand & appreciate the titles & offices of the Lord Jesus Christ, we will come to a greater comprehension of His purposes. Thus `Where is the Body of Christ in the Millennium?` begins to unfold in a greater way as we meditate on that glorious vision given to John & realise that we will (in a measure) be like Him. Human form, but oh so inexpressibly glorified. Not made for the things of this earth.

Thus from the `red earth,` we are being fashioned into `precious stones,` `diamonds, emeralds, sapphires....etc` all symbolic of the individual expression we will have in the heavenly realms.

Hi Defending the Name,

Just want to pick up on a couple of points you mentioned, since I`ve had time to go back over them. Now in your post #43 you said -

`Jesus said some standing here will not taste death if they happen to be alive to witness the Son of Man entering into his heavenly kingdom that was prophesied in Daniel 2:44 `

Let`s look at that scripture to see if that is really what Jesus said. `Jesus said....But I tell you truly, there are some of those standing here who shall not taste death until they see the kingdom (rule) of God.` (Luke 9: 27)

Can you see the difference? You said - `the Son of man entering His heavenly kingdom...` whereas Jesus said, `until they see the kingdom (rule) of God.`

When Jesus was talking to His disciples He was telling them that some there would see His rulership. `Kingdom` meaning rule. Thus we see 8 days after this declaration that Peter, James & John went up the Mount with Jesus & there before their eyes they see His glory.

`...the appearance of His face became different, & His clothing became white & gleaming.`  (Luke 9: 29)

This is the glory that Jesus had before He was manifested as a human. The disciples were privileged to behold the Lord in His glory, for He was a king long before He entered this world. The kingdom written about in Dan. 2: 44 was not what the Lord was referring to with His disciples.

Hi Defending the name,

Now the other point I`d like to bring out is in regard to your post # 37. You said, `Christ does not delegate because His heavenly kingdom is a monarchy & He is a monarch.`

I agree that Christ is a Monarch - Supreme Ruler, sovereign, Supreme Power is vested in one single Ruler. We know this from Paul`s writing, by the Holy Spirit to the believers at Ephesus.

`God....seated Him (Christ) at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule & authority & power & dominion, & every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in the one to come.`  (Eph. 1: 20 & 21)

Christ being Supreme Ruler however indicates that there are other rulers, King of Kings, there are other kings, Lord of lords, there are other lords...etc We also read of `thrones being set up,` (Dan. 7: 9) & `thrones` occupied, (Rev. 4: 4) & people being made `Kings & Priests,` (Rev. 1: 6) etc.

Thus we see that the Lord Jesus Christ, the Supreme Ruler of all realms, (`thrones & dominions, `Principalities & Powers,` `the kingdoms of the earth,`)

does in fact `delegate` authority. `Delegate,` means to `send a representative,` & this is God`s great pleasure to have sons in all the different realms who will operate under the Lordship of Christ & obediently do His bidding.

Oh the wonders that are in store for those who are called according to His purpose in Christ Jesus.

Shalom, Marilyn C.

Yes, Yeshua` is LIKENED to a "true human being now." Actually, He is SUPERhuman! A literal SUPERMAN! He GLOWS, much brighter than Moshe (Moses) did, having come down from Mount Sinai! I believe that we, too, shall glow!

Revelation 1:13-16
13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
KJV

1 Corinthians 15:39-49

39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40 There are also celestial bodies (Greek: soomata epourania = "bodies of/from-above-the-sky"), and bodies terrestrial (Greek: somata epigeia = "bodies of/from-above-the-earth"): but the glory (Greek: doxa = "that-which-causes-something-to-stand-out; fame; riches; brightness") of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 It is sown a natural body (Greek: soma psuchikon = "body 'soul-ual'"); it is raised a spiritual body (Greek: soma pneumatikon = "body spirit-ual"). There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul (Greek: psucheen zoosan = "soul living"); the last Adam was made a quickening spirit (Greek: pneuma zoo-opoioun = "spirit life-making").
46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy (Greek: ek gees choikos = "out-from earth/ground soil-like"): the second man is [the Lord] from heaven (Greek: ex ouranou = "out-from [the] sky").
48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy (Greek: teen eikona tou choikou = "the likeness of-the soil-like"), we shall also bear the image of the heavenly (Greek: teen eikona tou epouraniou = "the likeness of-the from-above-the-sky").
KJV

Chapter 15 of 1 Corinthians is a beautiful collection of contrasts! How do stars have glory and how does their glory differ from one another? They SHINE! They have COLOR! They have different INTENSITIES! Some are steady light; some flash at different intervals! I believe that, just as Moshe glowed in the short while that he was in the shekinah of YHWH, so we, too, will glow in the presence of our GOD and of His Mashiach Yeshua`! I believe that, like the stars, we will shine in different colors and intensities!

Let's look at the word "holy" which is also translated as "saint" or "saints":

NT:40 hagios (hag'-ee-os); from hagos (an awful thing) [compare NT:53, NT:2282]; sacred (physically, pure, morally blameless or religious, ceremonially, consecrated):
KJV - (most) holy (one, thing), saint.

(Biblesoft's New Exhaustive Strong's Numbers and Concordance with Expanded Greek-Hebrew Dictionary. Copyright © 1994, 2003, 2006 Biblesoft, Inc. and International Bible Translators, Inc.)

(That word "awful" is more like our word "awesome" today. It makes one "full of awe!" It does NOT mean "awful" in the sense of "disgusting.")

Romans 1:1-7
1 Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,
2 (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)
3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:
6 Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:
7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
KJV

1 Corinthians 1:1-3
1 Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,
2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:
3 Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
KJV

1 Corinthians 6:2
2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
KJV

Jude 14-15
14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
KJV

Revelation 20:4-6
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ (the Messiah), and shall reign with him a thousand years.
KJV

Thus, I believe that WE are His "holy ones" - His "singled-out ones" - that come with Him when He returns. Some of us will be newly resurrected from our graves and transformed; some of us will be newly transformed, having been yet alive at His coming. But, we who are His shall reign with Him for that 1000 years - that Millennium. (Not that we stop reigning at the end of this 1000-year period, for John also said after the Millennium,

Revelation 22:3-5
3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
KJV

Even Yeshua` said,

Matthew 13:43
43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
KJV

So, you are right. And, I leave you with one more passage of Scripture:

Malachi 3:16-18

16 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.
17 And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

Hi Retrobyter,

It`s good to talk of Christ & His glory as it so encourages our heart. Now a couple of points regarding `Holy Ones.` As you said -

`HOLY ONES,` from the Heb. `quodos,` meaning sacred, holy, & from the Greek `hagio,` also sacred, holy.

Now we know that `Holy Ones` can be either `saints or angels,` depending on the context or what other scriptures on that topic say. When we look at Jude, we see that he is quoting Deuteronomy, & then it is David in the Psalms who gives us the details.

`Behold, the Lord came with many thousands of His HOLY ONES.` (Jude v.14 NIV)
`The Lord came from Sinai.....he came from the midst of ten thousand HOLY ONES.` (Deut. 33: 2 NIV)
`The chariots of God are myriads, thousands upon thousands; The Lord is among them as at Sinai, in holiness.` (Ps. 68: 17 NIV)

So what does the Lord Himself say regarding this -

`When the Son of Man comes in His glory, & all the HOLY ANGELS with Him...` (Matt. 25: 31)
`the Son of Man .....comes in His own glory, & in His Father`s glory & in the glory of the HOLY ANGELS.` (Luke 9: 26)
`when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with HIS MIGHTY ANGELS.` (2 Thess. 1: 7)

Thus it is that when the Lord comes to earth to deliver Israel & to judge the Nations, He brings with Him the `Holy Angels,` His Angelic Army. It is a great error to insert `saints,` when there is no scriptural reason. Some bible translations have written `saints,` & this has caused the confusion. Thus we need to accurately handle God`s word so we can correctly know God`s purposes for the Body of Christ, Israel & the Nations.

Thus we need to accurately handle God`s word so we can correctly know God`s purposes for the Body of Christ, Israel & the Nations.

Actually, I think you've leaned the wrong way. It is equally wrong to insert "angels" where it doesn't belong. You see, the Greek word "aggelos" simply means a "messenger." That can be either a supernatural messenger (what we call an "angel") OR a HUMAN messenger! The word "aggelos" is used of several human beings, not the least being Yochanan the Immerser (John the Baptist):

Matthew 11:7-10

7 And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?
8 But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings' houses.
9 But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.
10 For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger (Greek: aggelon, the accusative case of aggelos) before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
KJV

The English word "angel" is a TRANSLITERATION of the Greek word "aggelos," for the "gamma-gamma" consonant blend is the "ng" sound and the Greek ending "-os," "omicron-stigma," denoting the second declension, was dropped, not needed for English. He WAS God's "messenger" for Yeshua` - His "herald" for His Son!

The same word is used for two of Yochanan's disciples who came to Yeshua` with Yochanan's question:

Luke 7:19-27
19 And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?
20 When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?
21 And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight.
22 Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.
23 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.
24 And when the messengers (Greek: aggeloon, the genitive plural of aggelos) of John were departed, he began to speak unto the people concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness for to see? A reed shaken with the wind?
25 But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? Behold, they which are gorgeously apparelled, and live delicately, are in kings' courts.
26 But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and much more than a prophet.
27 This is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger (Greek: aggelon the accusative case of aggelos) before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
KJV

So far, we've seen three human beings who were called "aggeloi" (the plural of "aggelos")! There are several others as well: Yeshua`s own disciples sent on ahead of Him to prepare the Seder meal for Him in the upper room (Luke 9:52), Stephen (Acts 6:15), the two spies who came to Rahab in Jericho (James 2:25), and even the pastors of the seven churches to whom Yeshua` had Yochanan write (Rev. 1:20; 2:1, 8, 12, 18; 3:1, 5, 7, 14). All of these were called "aggeloi."

I believe that there are several times that we INTERPRET "aggelos" to mean "angel," when the word should probably mean a HUMAN "messenger." For instance, 1 Peter 1:10-12:

1 Peter 1:10-12
10 Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels (Greek: aggeloi) desire to look into.
KJV

I've studied this passage at length and am convinced that the "angels" in verse 12 refers back to the "prophets" in verse 10.

Finally, the "angel" who poured out one of the seven bowls of plagues:

Revelation 21:9
9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.
KJV

Revelation 21:17
17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
KJV

Revelation 22:6-9
6 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
KJV

The contextual clues in the Greek suggest that this "angel" actually WAS at one time one of the prophets! In 21:17, the Greek phrase highlighted is "metron anthroopou ho estin aggelou" meaning "measured of-a-man which is of-a-messenger," equating "of-a-man" to "of-a-messenger."

In 22:9, he said, "sundoulos sou eimi kai toon adelfoon sou toon profeetoon kai toon teerountoon tous logous tou bibliou toutou...." Literally, this translates word-for-word to "a-co-slave of-you I-am and/also of-the brothers of-you the prophets and/also of-the keepers of-the words of the book/scroll this-one...." He is not only saying "I am a co-slave of you," but he also said, "I am ... also of the brothers of you the prophets," and "I am ... also of the keepers of the words of this book/scroll," as "eimi" is the ONLY verb in the phrase! Thus, this passage suggests this "angel" - the "messenger" - actually WAS one of Yochanan's brothers the prophets, not just a co-slave TO his brothers the prophets!

This is just in the Greek. The same thing can be found for the Hebrew word "mal'akh," which like "aggelos," strictly means "messenger" and MAY apply to supernatural "angels."

Now, regarding "holy," the Hebrew word for "to be holy" or "to be clean" is "qaadash," spelled "qof-dalet-shin" or transliterated as "q-d-sh." The vowel pointing added, the spelling is "qof-qamets-dalet-patach-shin." The "qamets" is the "aw" sound and is transliterated here as "aa." The "patach" is the "ah" sound and is transliterated as an "a." The vowels change with the parts of speech and with the nouns it may modify, for adjectives and adverbs must agree in gender and number.

Within the family of this word, we also have the noun form, "qedesh," spelled "qof-segol-dalet-segol-shin." The "segol" is the short "e" sound in "bed" and is so transliterated as "e."

We also have the adjective form, "qadosh," spelled "qof-patach-dalet-cholem-shin" or to emphasize the long "o" sound, "qof-patach-dalet-cholem with vav-shin" (or without the vowel pointing, "qof-dalet-vav-shin"), and transliterated as "qadowsh." It is to this form I wish to draw your attention in the Greek Dictionary of Strong's Concordance:

OT:6918 qadowsh (kaw-doshe'); or qadosh (kaw-doshe'); from OT:6942; sacred (ceremonially or morally); (as noun) God (by eminence), an angel, a saint, a sanctuary:
KJV - holy (One), saint.

(The accents are almost always on the last syllable.) Thus, when the word is used as a noun, "Holy, Holy, Holy," or "Qadowsh, Qadowsh, Qadowsh," it ALWAYS refers to the "Holy [One]."

When it refers to anyone or anything else, it simply means "a clean thing or person" or "a consecrated thing or person." Again, sometimes that can mean a supernatural person or it can refer to a human person who has been consecrated. Even in the Tanakh (the Old Testament), we find the word used for both!

Yet, most of the time, it is used for human beings, and the verse that is quoted is about human beings:

Exodus 19:6
6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
KJV

Leviticus 11:44-45
44 For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
45 For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.
KJV

Leviticus 19:2
2 Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy.
KJV

Leviticus 20:7
7 Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God.
KJV

Leviticus 21:1-6
1 And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto the priests the sons of Aaron, and say unto them, There shall none be defiled for the dead among his people:
2 But for his kin, that is near unto him, that is, for his mother, and for his father, and for his son, and for his daughter, and for his brother,
3 And for his sister a virgin, that is nigh unto him, which hath had no husband; for her may he be defiled.
4 But he shall not defile himself, being a chief man among his people, to profane himself.
5 They shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.
6 They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God: for the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and the bread of their God, they do offer: therefore they shall be holy.
KJV

Numbers 6:1-8
1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman shall separate themselves to vow a vow of a Nazarite, to separate themselves unto the LORD:
3 He shall separate himself from wine and strong drink, and shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat moist grapes, or dried.
4 All the days of his separation shall he eat nothing that is made of the vine tree, from the kernels even to the husk.
5 All the days of the vow of his separation there shall no razor come upon his head: until the days be fulfilled, in the which he separateth himself unto the Lord, he shall be holy, and shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow.
6 All the days that he separateth himself unto the LORD he shall come at no dead body.
7 He shall not make himself unclean for his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister, when they die: because
the consecration of his God is upon his head.
8 All the days of his separation he is holy unto the LORD.
KJV

Deuteronomy 7:1-10
1 When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;
2 And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:
3 Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.
4 For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.
5 But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.
6 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
7 The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:
8 But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;
10 And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.
KJV

Deuteronomy 14:1-6
1 Ye are the children of the LORD your God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.
2 for thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.
3 Thou shalt not eat any abominable thing.
4 These are the beasts which ye shall eat: the ox, the sheep, and the goat,
5 The hart, and the roebuck, and the fallow deer, and the wild goat, and the pygarg, and the wild ox, and the chamois.
6 And every beast that parteth the hoof, and cleaveth the cleft into two claws, and cheweth the cud among the beasts, that ye shall eat.
KJV

Deuteronomy 33:1-3
1 And this is the blessing, wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.
2 And he said, The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them.
3 Yea, he loved the people; all his saints are in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; every one shall receive of thy words.
KJV

The children of Isra'el WERE the "ten thousands of saints!" And, it was THIS verse that is quoted in Jude 14.
