We don't need no stinking doctrine?

I have heard several people in leadership, on TV and now locally say, we don't need doctrine. That doctrine divides and division is not good.

 

What do you all think?

Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:

What do you all think?

I think there are Church doctrines which apply more specifically to individual denominations and/or Churches. And then there are biblical doctrines which are the fundamental teachings of the Bible.

Those who say we don't need doctrines are most likely talking about Church doctrines. Just my thought.

Doctrine is vital to our salvation. When we follow false doctrine, we follow teachings that are contrary to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
