We too have a plastic basket full of plastic bags. My wife folds them diligently and uses them in the kitchen in our small trash can.

I however occasionally  cut eye holes in them and put them over my head. Use your imagination....

Do they give you a plastic bag of stuff when you leave the hospital n? If so, you can add it to your collection.

You know, some people just collect spoons, or teacups or stamps or coins. Not plastic bags.

my grandma collected plastic bags jade when she was alive thinking they would run out.

trash bags are handy we do keep some around to use to empty trash cans in bathrooms etc or if my mom dies her hair she uses a trash bag to dispose of the hair die elements.

One would have  stitched plastic bags together to escape from the window if possible.
