Be still and know that He is God.

God loves you and He knows your struggles.  When we become still, get into His Word,  it starts to flush out the sound  and thoughts of the world and ushers in His Peace.

Begin to praise and worship Jesus out loud.  Speak His Name and be assured He hears you.  The Bible says that God inhabits the praises of His People.  I love to praise and worship.  Know beyond a shadow of a doubt that when you begin to  praise Him the very space around you will change.  You will be the victor, and God will bring you to the other side.

Peace

See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.

Rejoice evermore.

Pray without ceasing.

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Quench not the Spirit.

Despise not prophesyings.

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

Abstain from all appearance of evil.

And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly;

and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body

be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 5:15-23

I recommend that you talk to a Christian counselor about this if you are having true symptoms of OCD. This may/may not be a physiological problem requiring medical treatment. A good counselor would be able to diagnosis, and determine how best to proceed. If possible, I'd go to a Christian counselor who's licensed, not just someone who calls themself a counselor. Again, that's what I recommend if you are having true OCD symptoms. I say that because in today's society, we tend to throw around the phrase "OCD," when it can truly be a debilitating problem for some people. God bless you and carry you through this difficult time.

Here is God's prescription for peace

Philippians 4

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

Three Steps....

1. Take your problem to God and believe He will take care of it (praying with thanks giving)

2. Receive the peace of God that comes when you do this

3. STOP thinking of it and think on happier things, its in God's hands

so often we go to God and say, "oh help me Jesus I am covered in mud"  and Jesus cleans us off....and we jump right back in the mud puddle

give it God, believe he will take care of it and then think on happier things

For me, the depression, anxiety, scattered thoughts, inability to focus, and I even had a fear when I read the Bible....it was all related to diet.  Once I cut sugar completely out of my diet, and started eating only REAL food, no junk, no processed, and no additives.  That is when i found peace in my thoughts.  My life did a complete turnaround.

I hope you find yours.

I know this is not a Biblical answer, but I found I couldn't find peace in any of the Biblical answers until i started taking better care of the temple.

Stop trying to "fix yourself"  It will never work.  Keep reminding yourself of who you are, A Child of the most High God.  We are all a work in progress and will never be "fixed or finished" totally we go home to  be with the Lord.   Stay in His work,  talk to Him throughout the day and then "be still and know that He is God.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
