i read the post about the law and those who break it wont see the kingdom of god. ive "fornicated" and im bound to have broken at least a few more of the 10 comandments in my life. ive asked for forgiveness from them, and i know ive still commited some of those sins, sometimes willingly. however jesus forgives all sins, whoever you are, whereever you are as long as your sincer, so am i saved and will i see the kingdom of god when i die?

Under the law, if you had ever broken a law, and had not done the correct blood sacrifice, you would be doomed. You live in the age of Grace. Ephesians 2:8 says: 'For by Grace you have been saved through Faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.' If you have accepted the gift of God, which is Jesus, you are now a child of the King! You need to work at pleasing God, but even when you fail at this (And you will from time to time) you can ask for forgiveness. God is more loving than any earthly Father, and will bring you back through His Grace.

Bless you Paul,

Honestly, I wouldn't concern myself with what was written in a post, especially the post you described. I would rather concern myself with the Word of God and especially those words spoken during the earthly minsistry of Jesus Christ. Jesus said that if we love him, we would obey him. [John 14:15 : John 14:21, 23; 15:10; 1 John 5:3; 2 John 1:6] So the question is for you brother. Have you truly accepted Jesus Christ as Lord & Savior? Have you turned away (repented) from worldly things and lifted your eyes to HIM? Paul wrote to the Church in Ephesus, "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God." Ephesians 2:8

One more thing to remember. "Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death." 2 Cor 7:10

So only you can answer your question Paul. Maybe it is time to take it to the Lord and not rely so much on what is said here?

Be Blessed,

Wayne

in my heart ive tryed to turn away from sin and keep focues on god. its not easy and i fall alot more often than id like to. ive repented from sin, but it gets confusing when something is a sin for one person and not another, how does that work and how do i know what is sin for me and what isnt? i know god, i pray to him frequently everyday, i try and live my life according to the rules, but we live by grace, and dont get to heaven by works. and then there are all the denominations of christianity, why do some people practice it one way and others another? what starts out as a simple act of faith by giving my life to christ gets very very comlicated the more i look at it and try and chage my life to follow him....

Paul,

Read what our brother Paul wrote and then ask yourself. Who is my master?

Romans 5

20 The Law came in so that the transgression would increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,

21 so that, as sin reigned in death, even so grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

...but he went on to write:

Romans 6

1 What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase?

2 May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?

12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts,

13 and do not go on presenting the members of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.

14 For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? May it never be!

16 Do you not know that when you present yourselves to someone as slaves for obedience, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in righteousness?

17 But thanks be to God that though you were slaves of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were committed,

18 and having been freed from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.

19 I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh For just as you presented your members as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness, resulting in further lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness, resulting in sanctification.

20 For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness.

21 Therefore what benefit were you then deriving from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the outcome of those things is death.

22 But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life.

23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Bless you Paul,

Wayne

The short answer brother? ... because many folks lean on their own understanding rather than rely on God's Word to speak to their hearts. Trust & Obey, for there is no other way. Listen to the Lord as He speaks to your heart Paul. From what you have written, He is speaking to you bro. It's not complicated Paul. It is rather simple. We must rely on God for everything from our salvation to our daily bread to our spiritual growth. Key word...GROWTH.

I know what you mean and was also confused...until I read and studied the Word of God for myself and did not rely on the understanding of others. Paul, I think the key is what's in your heart. Do you have a heart for God? Do you truly seek HIM? Do you desire HIS approval? We can never be good enough brother but by His Grace, we have been saved.

One more thing Paul...and then I have to sign off for now.

David wrote this (Psalm 37) ---

23 If the LORD delights in a man's way,

he makes his steps firm;

24 though he stumble, he will not fall,

for the LORD upholds him with his hand.

Read all of Psalm 37 to grasp the meaning.

Trust the Lord Paul. David wrote, "Commit your way to the LORD." Man will fail you. You will make mistakes just like the rest of us. Regardless, in HIM you will find refuge and comfort.

Sin is sin. I'm not talking about the gray areas like taking a drink or smoking, I'm talking about breaking the "Top Ten" We have all done things knowing we were wrong. When we come to Christ God gives us the Holy Spirit in us. IF we listen to that still small voice in us we won't go wrong. Keeping a running dialoge with God and staying in the word will give you so much more peace in your life. God Bless

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
