(Worthy News)– The chairman of the House Intelligence Committee warns that America is dealing with 'the highest threat level we have ever faced in this country,' CBS News reported.

Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., told CBS' "Face the Nation" on Sunday that the threat is coming from the radicalization of young people and foreign fighters heading to Iraq and Syria to join terror groups.

"They're very good at communicating through separate avenues where it's very difficult to track," Nunes said. "That's why when you get a young person who is willing to get into these chat rooms, go on the Internet and get radicalized, it's something we are not only unprepared [for], we are also not used to it in this country." —

Do you realize that most of the NDAA was put in place in the days of WWII and it hasn't been the downfall of the USA...

 

portions of it has been around since the civil war.....            If our military is going to take over the country, we don't need the NDAA for that to happen   Regan took care of that when he set up FEMA.....I

 

I know where you are coming from for I have been there......   but I've been to other places since I was there and found that there is much more to be concerned about than the NDAA.    God finally saw I wasn't going to be satisfied with him and he took me to all the places trying to destroy not only our country but personally myself and I finally got the message that on planet earth, I have no future.

If the progressives don't get me ISIS will.....    when you look into the New Age Movement and see the New Age Religion that has moved into the UN and promoting much of what's going on in the world and realize that it's the same evil that had hold of Nazi Germany in the 30's and realize that while we defeated the German army, we imported Nazism into our midst and it took root and has grown into the New Agers.....    and look in depth at Islam and it's drive to put the whole world under sharia law and then there is the violence possible between black and white peoples.....   it just finally overwhelms you and you finally understand that the only hope one has on this planet for anything long term comes from the Holy Spirit.

 

And the Holy Spirit will sustain me in most any of the situations that the present troubles our country faces.....   and I worry least about our own military.

 

If we stand any chance at all, our next president will need the NDAA and the Patriot Act to rid this country of the Muslim Brotherhood....   and until you understand what Islam is about and what it is poised to do in the world, you will never understand my stand here.

When you wake up one morning and you are safe from the latest red threat, will it be worth the price of your freedoms and rights? You know they will never come back, the government takes away, but they never give back.

I hope your safety is worth our country as we know it. It will only get worse till it is too late, then we will no longer recognize this once great country. That is too high a price in my opinion, sadly most agree with you and will continue to give away freedoms and rights in the name of security. It truly breaks my heart.

I don't recognize my own country today and it isn't from the NDAA or Patriot Act.  Which for some reason, every conversation you are in, returns to a debate about these two acts.

 

Socially, Morally, Religiously, Temperamentally, Economically, Ethically, all of these and more have been upended in my lifetime.

 

The biggest threat our nation faces today is the internal collapse of all of these domains.  It is going to happen, I don't see a recovery from this, I believe we must hit rock bottom first and I don't know if we've already dropped off the cliff and are plunging toward impact, or if we are teetering on the edge.

 

There are good, moral and ethical people in the US military and Law Enforcement.  Many more than the bad apples.  Don't let the Mass Hysteria Media convince you that they are your enemy.  The thin blue, green and red lines are there to protect us and when their day comes, they will have to decide if they are loyal to the people or the government.  Right now, the powers that be know the loyalty of these guardians lies with their families and communities.  It's no wonder they are being undermined and the citizenry are being manipulated to be suspicious and untrusting of them.

 

Be suspicious of the lawmakers, jurists and judges, especially when they are singing the same tune, but their power comes from the peace and security that is guaranteed by the green, blue and red lines.  If those lines disappeared, they will no longer be shielded from the people they have used, abused and stolen from.

 

If anyone should be feeling uneasy at this moment, it should be our elected officials.

The things you listed are forever in flux, they are constantly changing. The world you were born into that you see as the norm in those areas is very different than what your grandparents viewed as the norm.

That is a separate issue from people gleefully handing over freedoms and rights in the name of safely and security.

I agree 100% with you on the police and the military. Couldn't disagrees more about elected officials needing to worry, we reelection them at greater than a 95% rate. They have the country too divided to need to worry, which is by design.

Yes, societal virtues are constantly at war with the Law.  Societies are made up of people and their virtues have tendency to move away from YHVH.  This is why it is so important to have a foundation we can rebuild on when society moves so far away from YHVH it can no longer be redeemed and eventually self destructs.

 

We are experiencing total societal disruption and have no doubt I will witness its collapse and destruction in my lifetime.

I thought parts of the patriot expired.....     unless I missed something, they do come back......              As for the country you once knew, with Islam as strong as it is, that country isn't sustainable...         You can't keep those freedoms when Sharia law comes anyway....      So I would rather keep what we can of the old way and maybe we can get rid of the threat and get back more toward normal.....     we have set aside some of our freedoms in the past and when the danger passed restrictions were dropped.

It's very dangerous to put idealistic processes in motion when it defeats common sense.
