We are guaranteed freedom of religion.We're guaranteed freedom from a state sponsored religion, i.e., unlike the C of E, there is no "Church of America" because of the Establishment Clause: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion …"Freedom of religion is guaranteed by the Free Exercise Clause: "... or prohibiting the free exercise thereof".
