As one looks around and examines what is happening in the world, In American political shenanigans, in European chaos, in Christendom’s confusion, in Islam’s deception, it is quite evident that people are CHOOSING to be deceived.

Seeking for the truth is a choice which involves (1) a hunger for the truth, (2) a willingness to make the effort to search out the truth, and (3) a commitment to the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.  Ultimately it is a total commitment to God’s Truth, no matter how foreign to the human mind or human reason.

Today, we find that even among those who are genuine Christians there is often a willingness to believe or accept that which is less than the whole truth.  But it is only the Truth which sets us free, and it must begin with the true Gospel and continue with Bible Truth.

i THINK this posting title is different with this writing..

but i am giving reply to the title.. title is good,, because every where people going to deceive their own people or friends or partners or family too

reason.... as i learn in ministry... i am giving few reasons here

before my born again i have deceived many people.. i have lied to people many times.. I am also cheated my parents too..

That is my blind life, selfish mind, inside sinful mind which is lead me to live like that..

after coming to Jesus.. I am totally changed in soul and body too..

after born again.. i started to seek how i can serve to my parents, how i can serve to an person ...

As you said brother Ezra... in present days i can see many christian people who are not standing on word..

Many Christians only seeking personal benefits, if they have the big benefit they can give some thing for Lord's ministry

if they have personal glory they can give some thing to others or ministry,.,,

What is the reason.. they are not truly born again..

In my experience i can say.... unless a person is not born again a person only lives for his own deeds so he can do any cheating work or deceive others... matter is need the born again life..

I lost my 27 years without born again life.. i have deceived many people, i used all money for me...

after born again I am in ministry from 27 years.. as part time worker for 6 years.. as full time minister 21years,,

God changed my mind and i have raised and poured millions of rupees currency to save some souls in different villages

in the form of service life is fully dedicated.. still not built a small strong home.. i am able to live like this.. why?

only reason .. born again life.. Just living for the glory of God,..

i am practically saying.. just living for the glory of God.... if any person comes to visit me He can found different matters in my life..

I AM SAYING TRUTH.. A BORN AGAIN PERSON NEVER DECEIVES OTHERS..

If i did a small mistake against a brother or sister,,i am unable to sleep on that night, or i am unable to preach next time

Oh that is great pain from my conscience... i know practically

A BORN AGAIN PERSON NEVER DECEIVES OTHERS

Rom 13:5  Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

Heb 9:14  How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

THIS IS VERY TRUE... BUT IN PRACTICAL IT IS VERY HARD  TOO....

I have spent the last forty plus years actively pondering the nature of "truth" and why so many people are so deceived. I don't have a strong answer really, but some of my conclusions are as follows.

1 - All humans are fundamentally deceived to their very core. This comes from the enemy and the fall. Jesus said there is no truth in the enemy. The enemy absolutely cannot comprehend or accept the truth in any way. All humans start out that way as well. It is impossible for us humans to comprehend or accept the truth about life on our own. Jesus addressed this in John 8:40-47.

2 - The very first step in a human being coming to a knowledge of “the Truth” is when we submit to the truth that God loves us more than we can imagine and sent His only human born Son to die on a cross in our place, and that 3 days later, God raised Him from the dead. That is the very beginning of submitting our lives to the “Truth”. Until we do this, is it simply impossible for any human to comprehend the truth. John 1:5 “The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.” (NIV) “Light” here is easily equated with truth.

3 - The next step for a truth seeker, a.k.a., a Christ follower, is to love the truth and person of Jesus Christ more than what they have been taught about Him. That means, one has to actively seek to grow closer to Christ by seeking His truth and facing ones own self-deceptions – in everything (including, and perhaps most importantly, in ones relationships). We are all profoundly self-deceived. Those who deny it are worse than those who realize it and attempt to overcome it.

4 - Heb 11:6 says that faith is believing that God is worth seeking and then seeking Him. Our faith, our desire for truth, is only measured by how earnestly, actively, and humbly, we seek to grow closer to God through His one and only Son, and then to lovingly reflect them to the world around us. We make this decision every moment of our lives. With every thought, we choose to either grow closer to Jesus or do anything else we want.

Finally, people are deceived because they love theology, doctrine, Bible study, Christian activities, or anything else more than Jesus Himself – who is the “Word of God”. The more we become like Jesus in humility, truth, wisdom and love, the more we overcome our inherent self-deception (and, the more we become “God's word” to this world of deception, evil, and blackness).

[If this is not true, I invite any respectful comments leading me to the truth.]

Forgive me, simpleJeff, but I do not understand what you are trying to communicate.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
