I am so glad The Lord has determined to cease sexuality!  It has been such a devils playground !

If He has done that, Steven, I didn't get the memo.

Actually it is quite common.I have not had a problem on Christian websites as much as a job location.

That's an interesting point. I haven't seen it much on Christian sites, either. It's not to say it never goes on, but seems much less, but on non religious sites it goes on, and I've known a few posters who have had affairs and it all started because they thought their 'innocent banter' was...innocent. I'm often accused of being a prude, because our culture promotes being as sexual as possible out in the open so the whole world sees it. I don't judge how others live their lives, but I think sexuality is a private thing, and with someone you trust and love. That's just my opinion. Thanks for your thoughts, yes, it's definitely common in the workplace. :(

I think most women who work have been hit on by married men.  I certainly have.  I just  make sure the welcome mat isnt out; no response to flirting, no smiles, no anything.  I also make sure I'm never alone with a guy that that.  Men are hit on by married women too, btw.  Either way, it's a recipe for disaster and adultery is a sin.  I've never been hit on on any website though.

There was a guy who was married that I could have had fired on the spot.As it turned out I didn't have to do that. And remember you can be hit on as a woman by another woman on a job.

I know that a woman can be hit on by another woman but, luckily, it has never happened to me personally.  If it ever does, it will NOT end well.

When I started working years ago the place of employment did not protect you from sexual harassment. Now they are very strict on protecting a person from it.And that does not only go for women.

True; my supervisor, years ago when I worked in a manufacturing plant, was fired for sexual harrassment of a young man.  She simply wouldn't keep her hands off him and he filed a complaint.  She was at least thirty years older than him, btw.

How do you feel when someone who is married...flirts with/hits on you? (online or offline)

If a married person hits on you, how do you react? I used to think such things were harmless, but I've seen a few friends of mine lose their marriages over 'harmless' flirtations that turned into full blown affairs before long. People think that affairs start overnight, but they start with flirtations, etc. I've never been married, but thought I'd pose the question here.

Run like Joseph did from Potipher's wife.  In other words don't stick around but get the heck out of dodge and making it quick.

lol some interesting responses.

Yes, openly curious, I agree. It is easy sometimes to stick around thinking you're imagining things, or that the person will stop eventually. But, it's best to make very clear that you don't appreciate the flirtations since they're married, and move on. I have seen people think that flirting is ok, and the next thing...they're in divorce court. Yea, they thought it was okay, their spouse didn't. lol I don't think we need to act like drones, but people should just treat people they way they wish to be treated. Think we learned that 'rule' in kindergarten.

agree, a recipe for disaster for sure. I can't help but wonder if much of this is happening these days because people don't consider what they're entering into, when it comes to marriage. It's a big deal, and shouldn't be taken lightly.

a lot depends on how well I know the person. If it was someone that I barely know, or just a casual aquaintance, i usually ignore it or shut them down. If its someone Ive known for a long time and I know theyre joking on occasion well joke around a bit, depending on the purpose. I have a few friends that we might joke flirt on occasion, never on a regular basis though, and never anything we wouldnt say while our significant other was in the room.

yes you did!
Matt 22:29-30
29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
