lets examine what it is stating for clarification , Jesus says to let the children come to Him ,do not hold them back

we see that Jesus also in the 17th verse says that we if we are not receiving the kingdom as a child ourselves then in no wise we enter in.

so I believe there is a lesson to be learned here and it is about our attitude secondly that we need to not be about us , but about God to save us, and to depend on , for we cannot by any works enter in for our good works is as filty rags , and so unless it be by grace,  we have no hope,

and getting back to the children I have posted , that Jesus says let the children come to Him for theres is the kingdom of God, but does ll enter in ?

we know that not all people enter in as adults for there is a separation of the goats and the sheep , the wheat and the tares,

so the question here in this topic , really is, ? how do we come with child like faith , so we can understand and enter in to Gods rest ?

A child-like faith is one of a child.  A child believes their Father can fix, take care of anything.  A child brings the problem to their father and believes completely their father will take care of it with complete confidence and without question.

It is a faith of complete and utter trust.

It is the faith God Himself exhibited when He Himself became a baby.

When I was in the United States Army many years ago I remember often going to Church just feeling like I was the biggest loser ever born; it was the feeling of I can't do anything right and no one cares.   Feeling this low I would often walk the 2 and half miles to Church and talk to God.  I remember just about every time if not every time getting to that Church and a little 3 year girl would see me yell my name and come running to me (at that time I enjoyed playing with all the small children) but she always made me feel as if I really matter because of the joy in her eyes to see me and the hugs she often gave me.  Once while talking to her mother, her mom told me how every night her and her husband made sure she pray for her family and the pastor and this little girl without missing a beat would pray for me also.

A little child doesn't have to be told how to love they just do'; and after all that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit have done for each and every one of us it should be as natural for us to want to send time with God.  To want to feel the embrace of the Members of the Godhead.  IMO this what the Apostle in the early Church did:  As they ,ministered to the Lord, and fasted the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.  Acts 13:2   That is they ministered by enjoying His presence and having a lovefest with their God.   I have heard a story of how President Kennedy love his son so much that he made time to spend with him every day.  One day after spending time with his son he told him, he had an important meeting so he would have to leave; to which John Jr, replied daddy can I stay here with you, I promise I will be quiet I just want to spend this time with you.  Child life faith just wants to spend time with God even if it requires silent.

Child like faith says praise God for all thee problems that i am going thru can't wait to see how the Father is going to provide for me, that is to believe that He will reward us faithfully, Hebrews 11:6.  While most of us Christian (and I include myself)  at the first sign of trouble complain and murmur to God.   A new believer in Christ will believe God for just about anything while we who are more mature know better (for we have lose our child like faith).

I want to thank you for that  story , it has brought joy to my heart and made me think of how you have just reached out to people with this story, to examine ourselves and to seek that first love we have lost,

for when I was new to the faith of a born again believer, I would tell people and want to just stay in the arms of God , and then as we grow older we start to put distance between us and God, but the child is the reference and the excitement we must regain, and we cannot do it unless we are willing to humble our selves and dedicate our selves to the will of the father,

so like we see and take care of the very young and infant we see how they are safe and content in our arms , and we do what ever it takes to comfort them and to nourish them and to see the happy faces not worried about lifes issues but its just a focus of them to you and nothing else matters, so we can see how it is in our own lives, but we have to make the effort to come back to God and not get lost, for when we are lost, we are afraid and ,cannot be ready for what could happen, but when we are with God in any situation we know that He is loving and Has a part in all that we do and all that we are ,

and so we can rest in God , and he see us through all, if we obey and have faith in Him, and not in our selves, amen...

so thank you again and blessings to you , you have made a difference today , by your words , and I appreciate that .

In Matthew 18:3, Jesus says,

"[...] Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven."

Receiving the kingdom of God as a little child has to do with gospel conversion. A little child is completely dependent on his parents. God likewise seals His children at gospel conversion (Eph 1:13), giving them His Holy Spirit of promise. The child of God understands he is eternally secure then in God's arms; he can rest from his works of trying to make himself right with God. A little child does not work to make himself accepted by his parents; he's accepted because he is a son. Likewise, God gives His Spirit to His children because of our sonship (Luke 11:5-13, Gal 4:6).

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
