Ironic that the current Pope would welcome a Muslim invasion as his predecessors did everything they could to repel invading Saracens rampaging through the medieval papal states.

Geoffrey Grider is the Editor-in-chief of NOW THE END BEGINS, an end times bible prophecy site. But there is no "about us" or any info that I can find about NTEB or its editor, who describes himself as a preacher who oversees a dynamic street outreach and tract ministry team.

IMO, his site is nothing more than a blog that deals in innuendo and rumor.

However distasteful this one site is, there are many many sites that have this. Including the 2 links below, which are more reputable. In fact, the sites Im posting not only claim he said this, but also that the invasion is a good thing. Ug.

We're living in the last days~~too many things around us going on which are speeding up these days ,it's just a time clock, don't you think?

Since the day Jesus assended back into heaven people have thought they were living in the last days, and they have been wrong 100% of the time.

The difference is, in previous times it was always just one obscure Church or cult that thought this. Today, Christians from many many different denominations and backgrounds are embracing the idea.

Secondly, previous interpretations of the End Times often ignored scripture. Certain things need to come to pass before the End Times can occur and the people that believed we were in the End Times had always ignored such events. Now we can see these things being fulfilled.

Well since Jesus didn't come back in their lifetime it would appear so.
