Even the KKK did some good deeds, just saying...(and no I am not comparing Trump to the KKK).  But does flying a kid on your plane erase taking people's houses to build another casino?

The woman didnt lose her home. It was not bulldozed. She refused an offer of $251,000 dollars for it back in 1994 when this so called incident happened. It was sold 20 yrs later for twice that amount. So she was not offered peanuts for her property. The attack ad by cruz neglected to mention any of this.

The TRUTH of eminent domain is that the person is PAID market value or above if their property is taken.  You try to infer that their property is just grabbed and they are left homeless.

Market value is not always very much when a casino is being built in the neighborhood.

The bigger truth about eminent domain is that it was never intended to be used to take property from one private citizen and give it to another private citizen so they can make even more money.  No citizen should be forced from their home so a rich guy can get richer.

How can anyone claiming to be a conservative support such an action.  Did you know that eminent domain is now being used to force churches to relocate so the city can have a higher tax income from that land? Is this something you would support?

That is not the only time Trump has used eminent domain, that is just the most famous.

because a majority of that state declared it was legal.    A nation of the people for the people.....    if you don't like it change the law, don't dis the people who follow the law.  That is what being a conservative is.

No, because the Supereme Court declared it legal.  But I am sure you agree with 100% of their rulings.

You would never dos anyone for following the law would you?  Say like Planned Parenthood?

Now I do not remember Trump's view on Planned Parenthood who kill innocent babies. Hasn't he gone back and forth on this important issue?

That would depend on what day of the week it is and who his audience was

only abortions and selling baby parts....     actually planned parenthood helped my wife and I when we first got married and had very little to work with.

I just happen to think abortion is murder.   the other things they do is a help to disadvantaged people.

btw that is Trumps stand on Planned Parenthood also.....    and he changed his mind about abortion one time that I am aware of, but has openly said he would not put them out of business for they do some good.

But abortion is legal, so you would not dis people for following the law, would you?

I think the misuse of eminent domain is theft, even if the Supreme Court disagreed.
