Look back at JFK/LBJ - during the '60 primaries, they were bitter enemies. The Kennedy family hated him - saw him as a low class Texas rube. Yet they formed an alliance - he put JFK on his ticket as VP. Same with Reagan and GHW Bush (one alliance I hated to see, btw, but that's a subject for another time.) From what I know about Cruz (which isn't a whole lot), he is a bona-fide conservative. As such, he must be very concerned about what a Hillary presidency would mean for the country. Perhaps this has caused him to put aside what personal differences he has with Trump, and do what he thinks is best for the country. Blessings, -Ed that might be a good subject to discuss some time.
