I know this from painful personal experience. People don't realize that there is a war going on, and while God will win, Satan is not through yet. Those that believe, because they are born-again they will not suffer Satan's wrath even leading to death, are being deceived. This is akin to the "prosperity gospel" and the "name-it-and-claim-it" false gospel. The Church prospers most when it is under duress.
