Maybe I should stop trying to buy American, and look for the signature "Made in China" on all packaging.  If, indeed, they are the future of Christianity, I should support the workers there.

Everything ultimately is in God's hands. He has control of everything. We as humans might want the control because of our pride but that is not the case.

You write as if we are predestined to success or failure, as the will of God dictates.

Every born again Christian will succeed. We have trials and tribulations in our lives and God told us that is to be expected. He is with us during all of those difficulties in this world.

But when you say everything is in God's hands, you separate yourself from any responsibility.  You do believe in free will don't you?

God guides us and directs us in everything we do. Yes, man has a choice.God gave man free will. You can either do the will of God or do your own thing. There is always consequences in making sinful choices.

Guest Robert

We live in a sin-filled, sin-cursed world; there will be consequences no matter what choice you make, and even when you do the Lord's will, sometimes you will suffer for it. I know this from painful personal experience. People don't realize that there is a war going on, and while God will win, Satan is not through yet.

I agree.  Those that believe, because they are born-again they will not suffer Satan's wrath even leading to death, are being deceived.  This is akin to the "prosperity gospel" and the "name-it-and-claim-it" false gospel.  The Church prospers most when it is under duress.  This is when true Christians rely upon the Lord most, instead of their own works.
