It is a common practice to 'marry' virgin to deities in many cultures (ex. nuns today).

I don't see any edifying of Christ in your words.

Satan wanted to destroy God's creation with abominations.

They took beautiful women and somehow bred them with goats etc. to produce a perverse creature, half human (think beautiful blond child's head on an upright goat body) half animal as a way to destroy God's creation (ie. Earth/mankind), as it was perverse in the sight of the Lord (hence Noah's flood to correct the problem).

I too find John Tors interpretation unconvincing.  What perversities the fallen ones chose to pervert the bloodline of the future Messiah is unclear.  We are told in Genesis 3:5 about the seed of Satan and the seed of woman that will result in the Messiah.  Without going into extra-Biblical books, we know the offspring of the fallen angels and women would produced mighty beings, giants, and the stuff of legends.  We know the bodies of these beings are not invincible, David killing Goliath for instance.  We also know that spirits are not mortal, but immortal.  In addition, we know from Jude and Peter that some of these spirits (fallen angels) have been put in chains (prison) for what they've done, but other spirit beings are left to wander the land and sometimes possessing the bodies of human hosts and even animals.  What kinds of perversion was done, I believe, gave rise to the stories in mythology.  There seems to be a great emphasis on mythology in these current days.

the physical bodies of the Rephaim  are dead, but demons are the spirits of these poor entities....   they were never intended to exist and are not any part of Gods doings.    These spirits will still be here when the world is burned up.

There's at least four branches of Nephilim that are mentioned in Holy Scriptures that survive the flood, the Rephaim (the dead) are definitely one of them.  The product of the seed of the fallen and the seed of women (Genesis 3:5) produce mortal beings, but their spirits, like ours, is immortal.  I don't know when their final judgment will come.

I agree.

This is speculation without Biblical backing.  Noah's flood did not solve the problem as the Bible states the Nephilim where on the earth in those days and also afterward.  Reread Genesis 6.1-4.

But the Isaiah 26:14 passage shows they would not 'rise' (i.e., raised from the dead). That means the demonic spirits are not the spirits of the dead giants.

King James Bible - Isaiah 26

Song of Trust in God's Provision

1 In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks.

2 Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.

3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

4 Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:

5 For he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, even to the ground; he bringeth it even to the dust.

6 The foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the poor, and the steps of the needy.

7 The way of the just is uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just.

8 Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O LORD, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee.

9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

10 Let favour be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD.

11 LORD, when thy hand is lifted up, they will not see: but they shall see, and be ashamed for their envy at the people; yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour them.

12 LORD, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in us.

13 O LORD our God, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name.

14 They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.

15 Thou hast increased the nation, O LORD, thou hast increased the nation: thou art glorified: thou hadst removed it far unto all the ends of the earth.

16 LORD, in trouble have they visited thee, they poured out a prayer when thy chastening was upon them.

17 Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in thy sight, O LORD.

18 We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.

19 Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.

20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.

21 For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

Where do you see the Nephilim and their offspring mentioned here?  The spirit is immortal, not the body.  Why are we told not to speak to the dead (spirit beings)?

it is speaking of only the 200 or so angels that left their place and came here.

Where does the number 200 come from?

This is where one of the errors of thinking happens of who all the dead can represent from OT Scripture. Many think those Scriptures only refer to people that have died and are asleep in their graves.

Will the wicked dead be resurrected for Christ's future 1,000 years reign? Yes, per John 5:28-29.

Will the wicked dead bow the knee to Christ as Lord during that future time? Yes, as it is written, all knees will bow (Rom.14:11).

So who are these 'dead' that shall not arise, and not praise God? The truly... 'dead', the spirits of those hybrid giants which the fallen angels created during the days of Noah.

Reading Genesis 6:1-2, the Nephilim survived the Flood.  So what was the purpose of Noah's Flood if the Nephilim survived and their descendants: the Rephaim, Anakim and Emim continued?
