The point is that unless Trump releases his tax returns none of us has any info re Trump's international interests.

Never paid attention to any of his business's. I figure most all elected officials have business or investment conflict of interests already, and they keep getting voted into office.

If trump does do business in Russia or China, I figure he stands to lose a great deal once he enacts tariffs to protect jobs in America.

That is true but that is safe for Trump. No one is demanding that he show his returns. He wouldn't do it even if the voters wanted it.

But was that election legitimate? That is what is all over the news right now.

The election is legitimate in that for the most part those who voted for a specific person had the vote counted for that same person.

Trump was accused of running a criminal organization under RICO --The Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act!

Accused is not the same as convicted or guilty.

Speaking of....Did Donald ever reveal his taxes to us? I missed it if he did. What did he have to hide? Hillary showed hers.

He is not obligated in any way shape or form to reveal his tax information to the public, any more than you are obligated to reveal it to the public.

But she was honest even though it cost her she respected her voters enough to show her tax returns. She did not have anything to hide.

Trump not showing you his tax statements does not mean he is hiding something. By that standard, you are hiding something because you are not showing us your records.

I am going to assume you meant country, not company.  So, why settle this one, which gives the appearance of guilt, and keep going ahead with two more that Trump started against two chefs who changed their mind about being tied to the Trump name after some of the things he said in the campaign?  Will not giving a deposition three weeks before being sworn into office not be a distraction?

Yes I meant country not company. Yesterday was crushingly busy and I mistyped.

Perhaps the one was a more complex case or the other ones couldnt reach settlements. I dont know why one and not the others. I do know that settlements are often done to just plain end the case without any guilt. It is often done in the medical field for instance at the insistence of the malpractice insurance companies.

Like claimed deductions for political contributions, money from foreign business sources, etc. In short, possible conflicts of interest.

Trump has had 18 months to explain how he plans to extricate himself from hundreds of foreign business interests that can become unprecedented conflicts with America’s own interests.

He has already cut ties with many of them. Which have not been posted about on worthy. Im sure more will happen.

I think that was his opinion. But he will be our president so everyone is looking at his response. I think the Chinese have a bone to pick with Trump. Do we really want that?

Do we really want four more years of backing down and letting bad actors walk all over the U.S.?  Obama has simply not been tough enough on our enemies.  Trump is a whole different ball game.
