I went for a few months to Japan, out in the countryside not the city, in mid winter. Several feet of snow on the ground. However, by then I'd been staying with a family in a house, eating the local food ...etc. I was walking in that snow with a short sleeve T-shirt and carrying my coat because I felt it wasn't cold enough to put it on. Even they thought I was crazy but I just didn't feel it, which coming from years in a hot place seems weird looking back. Go figure! Acclimatization? It might warm up a bit on Monday. Before that we will have snow and freezing rain this weekend.
