Airlines

My hubby and I don't travel too much, but the last trip he took by air, he noticed that the American Airlines belonged to this affiliation......."One World Alliance". He said he noticed that other airlines were affiliated with it. I must admit, that I was a little surprised, as I didn't think we were THAT far along? I thought I might check it out. Here's what I found:

Well, is it just me though???? Or did you know that airlines were already beginning to be of a One World organization? Am I just too sheltered?

This has been coming along for quite a while. Airlines made international alliances so that they could share codes and book on each other for convenience sake. But as more people travel more widely, it has expanded greatly. Now in this age of terrorism and security issues, it is hard telling how far it will go. Like Cats said, we will probably see the day soon that we will need international ID, something more than a national passport, in order to get on a plane.

As always, these kinds of threads tend to get a little paranoic in their tone. Can I suggest that the new precautions generally makes us SAFER to travel? I know we are living in the end times, but as Christians we are called NOT to be afraid. Many before us and even now are suffering much worse than we have ever known.

Suffering for our faith has happened since Jesus set foot upon the earth. Why are people getting all worked up over something that God has already told us about in His word, epecially when we do not have a spirit of fear and trembling but of power and authority in Jesus Christ!

People who are set about getting others worried about the end time, and indeed those who get worried are working against the Word of God! It is simply NOT for us to be concerned, prayerful yes, but concerned and worried NO.

Who's paranoid? I was merely making an observation, that I did not realize that the airlines had unified in this manner. It was merely a topic for discussion and FYI.
