What does the Bible say about tattoos / body piercings?

Where does God say none in the NT?A person needs to pray for wisdom and discernment if they really want to get a tattoo.

Well it's suppose to be on our hearts through imitation of Jesus' Life

Matthew 5:17 (KJV)

[17] Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

[18] For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Reasoning with Scripture here let me ask you - Do you think Jesus had a tattoo?  I don't because Jesus fulfilled the Law!
So in that reasoning I ask myself if Jesus didn't and I am told to be follower of Christ then what remains about tattoo's?
