But why wear them? To add more fear than what was already achieved through the ramming and stabbings? Unbelievable.

Some police officers are trained with guns but they do not routinely carry them and it requires special permission for them to be deployed ( some are allowed to be armed near embassies or strategic places, I have never been a fan of guns but I can see a time not too far when people will start to demand the right to carry them if this continues, General election is on Thursday and may be a focus on that as if the Conservatives win then we will be able to take back more control of our immigration and borders

The US, Australia, Britain, Sweden(?) have all had this happen now with vehicles - now they've upped the anti by also carrying knives.
Guest shiloh357
Terrorists like soft targets and unarmed populations are ideal. Unarmed populations are low hanging fruit. It takes law enforcement 10 15 minutes to respond and get to the scene once they hear about the attack. Do you how many people a terrorist can kill in 10-15 minutes with automatic or semi-automatic weapons? Even with just a knife they can kill and injure dozens of people if they are unarmed. That's one reason why France and England are easy targets. Even in the US, the terrorists go after venues where guns are not allowed.

London eyewitness: Attacker stabbed girl and said 'this is for Allah' This attack makes it seem like there's a political motive behind the attackers actions. The Mayor of London is Muslim, just as a FYI. London's Mayor: 'We Will Never Be Cowed By Terrorism' President Trump's Tweets concerning this attack are mentioned there as well. I love this. He said, you notice we're not having an anti-gun debate after these attacks? That's because the assailants used knives and a truck!

It did not take even 2 hours for Trump to make it political, to use it to further his own political agenda.

To try and stop it from happening here...... everything he does to help keep as safe will be political. That's his job.
