Incite violence...GOOD for Trump, Bad for others. Nothing like a little hyper-partisan double standard to start the week Oh, the glories of blind hypocrisy. It's not "incitement" to hold up the head of the president in bloody effigy." It's not "incitement" to depict the violent murder of the president. It's not "incitement" for celebrities to suggest that the president be assassinated. But if the president is depicted beating up CNN, suddenly it's "incitement." If the roles had been reversed and it was a CNN reporting beating up Trump, you would deny it was "incitement." If it's okay to hold up the severed head of the president in effigy, if it's okay to have a play depicting the violent murder of the president, if it's okay for celebrities to suggest that the president be assassinated, then there should NO opposition to this. I know it really bugs the anti-Trumpers, but freedom of speech is a two-way street. They don't have a problem with stuff like this so long as Trump is the one targeted. So if it's okay to depict the murder of the president, it's perfectly fine for president to depict himself beating the living daylights out of CNN. Hypocrisy at it's finest. Who on this board said any of those things were ok? Please provide one example of someone on this board saying those things were "ok". This is nothing but a strawman because you are again defending the indefensible.

See, how that works! Ah the typical, immature "I'm going to throw your words in your face" response. My point is that the liberals and their anti-Trump amen corner were not outraged by the Kathy Griffin video or the play depicting the murder of Trump. They are not outraged by the death threats, or anything else that the president is subjected to. But suddenly when the president posts a video that isn't depicting anyone's death, suddenly it's an outrage. Quote Who on this board said any of those things were ok? No one. But that doesn't mean there weren't some who took quiet inner pleasure and didn't at least to some degree, in their hearts, agree with those depictions of the president's death. Silence is usually equivalent to approval. Just ask the Holocaust survivors.

But hypocrisy is a TOOL of the left. They don't have a moral compass or standards so they revert to this. Or to being 'offended'. It's laughable. It's not so much about tweeting as it is the selective outrage that exists on the Left where they can say whatever they want, up to and including calling for the president's death, and if the president responds at all, it's wrong. His critics are held to no standards of decency, in the name of "free speech" but the president is held to a moral standard that no one would ever hold themselves to if they were on the receiving end of the same barrage of defamation that he is. Agreed, the hypocrisy is unreal. Honestly I can't even believe this is considered newsworthy, there are more important things for our government to be doing. I'm still in disbelief that any rational person cares about this at all, much less think it is worthy of impeachment.
