Very dire situation. Even with a good emergency plan in place, this storm has definitely put a strain on the plan. Ive been watching Fox News for days now. The hurricane, tornados, and continuing rain is epic for sure. What subdivision are you in? Higher ground?  They are saying up to 50 inches in some areas with the endless rains. Gosh sis, Im praying!

You still have power and air conditioning? I hope so. 350 thousand dont according to the news. The heat w/o air is not good for those who are elderly or sick or babies. Praying!!

My power is on and my street grades to the south but there is still standing water everywhere!  My friend in Friendswood, two miles away, has water in her garage now and they are freaking out.  My daughter in Webster, four miles away, has water up to her steps but its a two story.  I'm continuing to pray; it's not possible to leave the area; the roads are impassable nearly everywhere.

Im at least 2 hrs north of MG and its flooding out closer to the creek.  ambulance and fire dept.  was everywhere one block over and lots of traffic with jacked up 4x4 trucks .  one truck had two men in the back getting soaked, and another truck had dogs in a little kennel cage in the back.  They were all leaving.

So you're up around Livingston then?  Trinity?

closer to trinity but in between the two.

Wow, it's flooding all the way up there?  That's about 120 miles from me and about 350 from Rockport where Harvey came ashore.  This is the worst storm to ever hit Texas they're saying on t.v.; at least in recorded history.  They just opened George R. Brown Convention Center as a shelter.

Praying for you guys there, the mercy and grace of the heavenly Father be with you and the Lord Jesus Christ be with you!

Thank you, Davida.  It's in His hands now; we are powerless to do anything except pray and try to survive.

Its the worst i ever saw.  the road one block from me is a river.  its bad.  the park down the road is underwater.    roads are even flooded out north of me.  as in in cities/towns north of me.  my sister is down closer to you MG, and she says she cant leave now.  I am keeping an eye on the water level here.  I prayed and i got peace to sleep here tonight.  didnt ask about tomorrow yet.

Be safe.

That's amazing that the area affected is so large!  I heard from someone in Huntsville today and they said it's flooding up there too.  You and yours be safe as well, Cletus; praying for you.
