Instead of focusing on the trip by the POTUS and FLOTUS to flood ravaged Texas, and the huge amount of resources allocated by Trump's signature, the LAMESTREAM media is focusing on the shoes Melania wore to Texas and what they mean.  WHAT?  Note that they also heavily criticized the outfits both Trumps wore.  You know, heavy, hard hitting journalism.  CNN, MSNBC, ABC, the NYT the Washington Post, etc. and ad nauseum, have finally hit rock bottom.  Anyone who gets their news from these sources will appear clueless and brain dead to thinking people.  But I guess conservatives already know that.

Next, we need to find out what brand of shampoo she uses.  It will no doubt be the wrong brand, even if it is the same one Nancy Pelosi uses.

And if they find out that her favorite flavor of lip gloss is strawberry, they need to spend 178 hours on CNN analyzing it.

And what does she eat for breakfast?  Is she right or left handed?   Does she have a Russian blood type?   Does she eat vanilla ice cream?  If she does, that's soooo neo-Nazi.  Bet she eats white bread, too.   That's just racist.

Those are far more important issues than the economy, or tax reform ,or healthcare, or anything else that intelligent, thinking, well adjusted American adults  care about.

Things are truly getting that dumb in the media.  Trump has done everything right with this disaster; way better than Bush and Obama did and yet...they are fixated on FLOTUS' shoes?

yes and Allison Cammarotti on CNN was grilling Governor Abbott, trying to get him to say that Trump wasn't doing enough and wasn't showing any compassion and he pretty much shut her down and told her she was wrong, that they had received unprecedented help from the federal government that had Trump had begun preparing for this disaster several days in advance of the storm making landfall and that they had federal assets in place when it hit.

He completely frustrated her attempt to smear Trump. CNN is also in a quandary as they cannot trash Abbott, a Trump supporter, in the middle of the this disaster and they cannot get the Governor or the Lt. Governor to trash Trump.   Both laud the way Trump has handled this disaster.

So, the only thing they can do is complain about Melania's shoes.  That's all they're left with.   They are NOT going to do actual, honest journalism, that is for sure.

I do wonder if people really understand the seriousness of all this.....   it truly is part of a plot to overthrow the government of the USA.

MSM has a meltdown over 'Stilletto Gate'

I have an idea to streamline the process of posting articles in the US NEWS or US NEWS/POLITICS sections.

Have one of the programmers design a template that looks something like this:

____________ [outraged entity] has a meltdown over ____________________ [Trump outrage of the day].

All the poster would have to do is fill in the first blank (e.g. Michael Moore; CNN; Chuck Schumer), fill in the second blank (e.g. what Trump did; what Trump didn't do; what Trump said; what Trump didn't say), and then provide a link to the article.

Voila!  There you have it!  The latest Trump outrage posted in seconds - rather than minutes.

The wonders of modern technology!

Blessings,

-Ed

Well I, for one, understand that concept very well.  It will not succeed but that is exactly the agenda of the left.  All of them.
