In which point did I said that I support or tolerate carnal mentality?

To me it sounded like you implied it. And if it sounded like that to me, others could interpret it in same way, and that is where the danger may hide.

So Jesus treated pharisees kindly and the confessed sinners roughly?

The pharisees were hypocritical, having an appearance of light, but evil lived in their hearts.

"Then the Lord said to him, “Now you Pharisees make the outside of the cup and dish clean, but your inward part is full of greed and wickedness." - Luke 11:39

Jesus did not treat confessed sinners roughly, but it is clear He attacked sin and it encourages people to guard their hearts from it.

"Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”" - John 5:14

And that is what we should do, to cleanse our hearts and to avoid every form of evil. As it is what the Lord Jesus taught us.

"but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin." - Hebrews 3:13

Depart from sin, embrace the grace!

I confess that i am addicted to pornography.

Jesus said this verse.

Matthew chapter 11 verse 30

For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

I know theirs a lot of beautiful women in porn and in life, find a women if that's what you want, if you want to get married, pray for someone you can love.

But if anything isn't easy or light it's not from Jesus.

Look at these verses.

1 Timothy chapter 1 verse7, 8
They want to be teachers of the law but they do not know what they are talking about or what they so confidently affirm.
We know that the law is good if one uses it properly.
Galatians chapter 3 verses 24,25,23
So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law. Before this faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed.

Romans chapter 4
13 It was not through the law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith. 14 For if those who depend on the law are heirs, faith means nothing and the promise is worthless, 15 because the law brings wrath. And where there is no law there is no transgression.

Yes, it is. Because you know it is against your beliefs, otherwise you would welcome it wholeheartedly.

And please, seek to purify your mind by reading the Bible, praying, and meditating on good things.

"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.
And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." - Ephesians 4:31-32

The Lord Jesus will give you what you need.

"Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking,
as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,
if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious." - 1 Peter 2:1-3

Welcome!

Hello again, not a long time i didnt write here right? :D

I have another question for you. Is everybody responsible for his own salvation and his relationship with God? I mean if someone can influence his life by his thoughts? You know, that i have OCD. I have to do certain things certain way and if i dont do them i feel anxious. This time i have an obsession that i can not send a photo of our class to my girlfriend. There was one girl not looking to the camera, but the picture was overall nice. The thought was saying that if i send it, she will have some small problem with God because of me. I didnt know what to do, because there was more of obsessions: if i dont send it maybe something worse will happen. So i finally send it, but now i am so anxious that i did something really bad.

What do you think about this?

Thank you so much!

No problem, but it is good that you keep us informed.

Salvation comes from God, by grace through faith in His Son - The Lord Jesus Christ.

Healthy habits that you will help your growth in Christ is: praying, Bible reading and meditation, and to believe because without faith is impossible to please God.

"So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." - Romans 10:17

Rebuke all evil thoughts, in Jesus' name. Do not welcome any sort of evil thoughts, but reject them.

"Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:
and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock." - Matthew 7:24-25

And about that episode of OCD, I already told you what you should do. Do not obey it, you should have send that picture.

And if it tries to let you anxious, rebuke it in Jesus' name. And believe, and it will vanish.

"For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things:
that you abstain from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality.
If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well.
Farewell." - Acts 15:28-29

I have passed through similar OCD episodes too. OCD is just too big of a burden, do not let it rule your life.

"For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." - Matthew 11:30

Do you think God was ever fooled by your promises / oaths never to do something again?

God knew everything about you before the heavens and earth were created.

If God judged us on the basis of merits and kudos like most mistakenly believe...

why would he EVER be pleased with us one minute knowing we will fail in the future?

God loves you.

Try to keep his commandments, for you will find in the trying you will avoid much evil and temptation.

But don't kid yourself. You are not going to be able to keep God's commandments in this life in this body.

That's why this body and this life (this heaven and this earth) will all pass away.

God wants you to live your life aimed at the goal of getting others saved now that you are saved. Period.

Waitress for Christ. Cab driver for Christ. Dare I say it? Whatever your vocation is... and occasional failure at resisting pornographic temptation... for Christ.

Confess your sins (1 John 1:9) to God (Psalm 51:4) and he is faithful and just to keep on being forgiving you (roughly what the Greek says using the imperfect tenses).

You are already forgiven. Confessing to God will be your owning up to it as it happens. Facing it. Being humbled by it. Realizing how great  is his grace. And getting your feelings and emotions back in touch with that peace that passes understanding (which you steered away from temporarily in sin). Even though you never sinned your way out of God's forgiveness.

The quest to keep every promise and never sin again is a fool's quest. Maybe if you are comatose or something. And all the well meaning folks who gave you this formula or that fail at their formulas. We all do. We are sinners saved only by grace. But let me repeat:

"Try to keep his commandments, for you will find in the trying you will avoid much evil and temptation.

But don't kid yourself. You are not going to be able to keep God's commandments in this life in this body."

I don't know about your OCD, but I'll bet once you realize how loving God is and that you should lighten up on yourself a bit, the anxiety will pass.

You see the devil wants us all twisted up in knots worrying about this stuff and pummeling ourselves over the things we keep failing at. It makes the devil happy because we are miserable and not in touch with God's grace and generally too self absorbed to share Christ with others.

It would be heaven if we did not have pornography to deal with at any level... about 50 years ago American female tourists were jailed for indecent exposure... they were wearing miniskirts.

Most people today are desensitized to what used to be considered pornographic about 50 - 75 years ago.  So you see, even though I am sure what you refer to as porn is far more indecent than what was considered obscene 100 years ago... it's all the same thing. Just varying levels of it. And most folks tolerate and indulge in "lesser" degrees of the same sin and lambaste those who are caught up more deeply in the same sin.

ALL sin was nailed to the cross. From every "white lie" to the most heinous crime.

Grace frees you from the condemnation of the law so you can focus as unencumbered as possible to evangelize the lost according to your gifts.

You have an "in" with skateboarders? Then you are Christ's way into that arena.

I am  quite weary of people who are either part of the problem or contributors to the problem giving others such grief for simply being further down the slippery slope than they are.

Of this Christ will demand an account. Pick any confrontation he had with the Sanhedrin (Pharisees, Sadducees, Lawgivers, Priests) as confirmation of this.

Don't let anyone or anything come between you and your God!

Let me add...

Sin, especially addictive sin (of which sex sin is the worst) can be aggressive to dominate and ruin your entire life.

Sex sin (which as I said all people are guilty of to some degree or other) is also one that you get easily desensitized to and you require greater deviance to get arousal or climax.

You may think you can wade in but soon find you are in over your head.

The apostle paul said

1 Corinthians 6:12 (AV)
12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

Sex, porn can and will enslave you. So be ware of it.

God still loves you and sees through it all with Christ-colored glasses. But in this life, in this body you can be the victim of porn.

Please read the following.

For it is impossible for those who were once Enlightened, and have tasted of the Heavenly Gift, and were made Partakers of the Holy Ghost,  And have tasted the Good Word of GOD, and the Powers of the World to come,  If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto Repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put Him to an open shame.  (Hebrews 6:4-6)

For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the Knowledge of the Truth, there remaineth no more Sacrifice for sins,  But a certain fearful looking for of Judgment and Fiery Indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' Law died without Mercy under two or three witnesses:  Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of GOD, and hath counted the Blood of the Covenant, wherewith he was Sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of Grace?  (Hebrews 10:26-29)

Now, the decision is yours.
