And I don't remember having any objection to pickled herring either. I didn't eat the roasted caterpillars to be polite but because I was having a crazy moment. And they were bitter and just awful. My MIL was raving about this hamburger casserole that she makes. She said that she could not wait until we tried it. Well.....the first forkful of the stuff I put in to my mouth was just gross, gross, gross. I finished a couple of forkfuls to be polite. Then she said " Honey can I get you seconds?"
