I am curious to know whether anyone here has ever felt that they have received a sign from God? Recently I prayed for God to show me a sign if I should follow a certain path. I believe this request was fulfilled the following day! However, that being said, at the moment, I was sure will all my heart and soul this was the answer to my prayer, however, now that it's been a few days, and logic creeps in... I dunno what to believe? How do we really know it's from God?

I guess I am having a hard time with faith here, I have been praying about this particular area of my life for a very long time...

If you have been praying about it for a long time....

then I would say that GOD just answered your prayers.

Depending on what it is. And if it is something of good

that came your way then....why the worry ???

LOVE and PEACE to everyone, :emot-questioned:

Why the worry... Guess that is just my nature... :emot-questioned:

I thought that this prayer had been fulfilled one previous time. But then, at that time, I was not following God's word or his will. Nor had I ever asked God to show me a sign in that situation (knowing now, it would never have come!).

I guess I have never really had God show me a sign before, not sure how you really and truly know it was from God or perhaps just a coincidence?

GOD doesn't show us signs.

He opens doors for us. He causes a situation

to turn around for the good, HE brings the things

we ask HIM for.... in our prayer request to come about.

Sometimes HE may use people to get our prayers answered.

He is GOD our provider.

LOVE and PEACE to everyone,

I can always know that things are a "yes" from God when these things take place.

What I am praying about becomes brought to the forefront in circumstances, and in the Word. Either in something He shows me through His Word, or through a message that has been preached. When I pray, I listen closely. I listen for godly confirmations all around. I'll usually get 2-3 confirmations that indicate this is a right thing. If my prayer is not confirmed through God's Word, or not confirmed through godly counsel, then I take that as a "no". Just because something looks good, does not mean it is from God. We have to be careful. Most importantly, we have to ALWAYS remember that God does not go against His Own Word. So if you are praying for something that is contrary to God's commands, then you should not go ahead with it, even if it seems good, it will fail in the end.

In His Love,

Suzanne

As Christians, we should be in the word, and in fellowship thru prayer every day. If we do this, the Holy Spirit will lead us. I find studying the Bible is not enough by itself, and spending time in prayer, by itself, is not enough. We must do both. Do this, and seek out Christian Council. As you consider your options, one should seem right.

I have never been 'Spoken to', or had visions, but in hind-site, I always see God's hand leading me.

I can also rest assured that if I do make the wrong choice, God can use it to mature me, also.

well, i do know that God isnt a confusing God and He does answer prayer when we ask Him to-for sure. we may doubt every now and then when He does something so amazing as answering your prayer the next day, but if it wasnt from Him i think He would have given you feeling of doubt.

God is an awesome God, revel in His glory, give thanks for the blessing of an answered prayer and believe in Him.

Once I asked God to give me a verse in the Bible.....because I was praying for someone......and he gave me an incredible verse......it really startled me! It was EXACTLY the thing I needed....and to my surprise....I had not noticed this verse ever before.....strange....

I thought I had just come across the verse by accident......but then I really began to realize it was from God.....

So.....with that in mind (if you could call that a sign) yes...God does give signs....if you believe you will get one.....

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
