Bless you and Grace to you,

I wanted to brag on my Momma today.

I was thinking about what an outstanding Giver my Momma is.

You see my Mom she will give you the shirt of her back. No joke. This from a woman born as the Great Depression ended. She was from a poor family. Raised by the Love of God thru her Grandmother.

When I was a child she was a lunch room lady. On Friday (Pizza day) she would bring home all the leftover Pizza from the Lunchroom at school. I believe she actually paid for it out of her salary. Thing was? All the kids in the neighborhood. They wanted to come to my house after school on Friday. They knew Mom was gonna have Pizza there and lots of Kool-Aide. She Loved those kids like she Loved me. One slice at a time. :36: Some of them needed Love. She was always giving somebody something. A ride, a dress, a piece of furniture, money. The Kids in the lunch room would lose their money and not have anything to eat. Instead of sending em' down to the Office? She'd just throw the money in out of her pocket. A providor even when she often felt not provided for herself. She went without many things when she was young. She went without many things when I was young.

Once when I was a child (maybe 5?) my Mom gave me a few bucks for my Birthday. I held onto it and held onto it. Mothers day came around and I wanted to return all the Love she had given me. I clutched that money in my hand and dreamed of all the stuff I could do with it. Yet I had done nothing with it for months. I was in a store with Mom shopping. A grocery store. She was buying groceries. I snuck around the side and saw it. I saw it a beautiful plastic Jug to make Kool-Aide in. I knew she would Love it. :emot-hug:

I scraped the mony out of my pocket and dug thru it. Not knowing if I had enough. Then a struggle came? I was trying to decide? Should I buy Mom this beautiful plastic jug? Or should I spend it on something like a new slot car? Oh' it hurt. :emot-highfive: I made the decision to Love Momma. I raced to the checkout and tried to sneak while she shopped. I wanted it to be a surprise. The lady rung me up. I was short the tax. I told the cashier what it was for. She reached into her pocket and threw in the 3 cents. I was off. High as a kite. Man was Mom gonna be surprised by her new plastic jug. :36: I wanted to give something to Momma that showed how much I Loved her. It wasn't much. She had even given me the money.

I hid it until I could make the presentation. She opened it and her eyes lit up as she was overjoyed. Now I'm sure that a plastic jug for Kool-Aide wasn't her idea of the end all beat all. Yet she never flinched as she gave me the biggest hug. She knew it was from my heart and probably all I had to offer. It was the intention of the heart to hold nothing back and Love Momma. :21: You see I have an inheritence. I'm a Giver just like Mom. Even more than that my mom has an inheritence. The Love of God thru Hattie May her Grandmother. :24: When all else failed. Hattie May gratefully gave this child a chance. God knows my Mom's heart. He always provided for her all her life. She had a surrogate family at the local Grocery Store on town corner. The people who owned it? They Loved her like a daughter. The Love of God was pressed down and running over in my Moms life. It naturally spills over into her giving.

My Son had his 6th birthday. She sent him a card with money in it. Then she came over to his birthday party and brought him a present and my daughter too. I was like? Mom come on now? The boy got money already and now you bring a toy? One for the girl too?

You can't stop a cheerful giver. You can't stop the Love of God. :41: You can't break the Blessing. You can't put a hold on your inheritence.

You see Your Father in heaven? He is like this;

Mt

Mother's Day is just around the corner. It is always lovely to hear of those mom's that hold such a high place in their children's lives; those mom's that always went the extra mile to make sure their children had food and clothes; those mom's that wore worn out shoes so little Sally could have a warm winter coat or Tommy could have a new guitar complete with lessons. Those selfless mothers are the reason the Lord has blessed us with a special day just to honor them. I loved reading about your mom Dr. Luke. Thoughts of my own mom came flooding back. She was such a blessing to our family. I doubt I ever knew a more selfless mom. She worked very hard so her five children could have what they needed. Sometimes it was just a small gift and an orange in a stocking at Christmas, but you better believe she worked hard to make sure we got it. She has gone home to be with the Lord now. I still miss her dearly, but those wonderful memories of her love are a treasure I will always hold close to my heart.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
