Subject: Kidnap Warning:

Please read this, a new twist on kidnapping, a very smart survivor.

About a month ago there was a woman standing by the mall entrance passing

out flyers to all the women going in.

The woman had written the flyer herself to tell about an experience she had,

so that she might warn other women.

The previous day, this woman had finished shopping, went out to her car and

discovered that she had a flat.

She got the jack out of the trunk and began to change the flat.

A nice man dressed in business suit and carrying a briefcase walked up to

her and said, "I noticed you're changing a flat tire. Wou ld you like me to

take care of it for you?"

The woman was grateful for his offer and accepted his help. They chatted

amiably while the man changed the flat, and then he put the flat tire and

the jack in the trunk, shut it and dusted his hands off.

The woman thanked him profusely, and as she was about to get in her car, the

man told her that he left his car around on the other side of the mall and

asked if she would mind giving him a lift to his car.

She was a little surprised and she asked him why his car was on other side.

He said he got turned around in the mall and left through the wrong exit,

and now he was running late and his car was clear around on the other side

of the mall.

The woman hated to tell him "no" because he had just rescued her from

having to change her flat tire all by herself, but she felt uneasy.

Then she remembered seeing the man put his briefcase in her trunk before

shutting it and before he asked her for a ride to his car.

She told him that she'd be happy to drive him around to his car, but she

just remembered one last thing she needed to buy. She told the man that he

could wait for her; she would be as quick as she could be.

She hurried into the mall, and told a security guard what had happened; the

guard came out to her car with her, but the man had left.

They opened the trunk, took out his locked briefcase and took it down to the

police station.

The police opened it (ostensibly to look for ID so they could return it to

the man).

What they found was rope, duct tape, and knives.

When the police checked her "flat" tire, there was nothing wrong with it;

the air had simply been let out.

It was obvious what the man's intentions were, and obvious that he had

carefully thought it out in advance.

The woman was blessed to have escaped unharmed.

How much worse it would have been if she had children with her and had them

wait in the car while the man fixed the tire, or if she had a baby strapped

into a car seat.

Or if she'd gone against her judgment and given him a lift.

I'd like you to forward this to all the women you know.

It may save a life. A candle is not dimmed by lighting another candle.

I was going to send this to the ladies only; but guys, if you love your

mothers, wives, sist ers, daughters, etc., you may want to pass it on to

them, as well.

Send this to any woman you know that may need to be reminded that the world

we live in has a lot of crazies in it.... better safe than sorry.

PLEASE BE SAFE AND NOT SORRY!

JUST A WARNING TO ALWAYS BE ALERT AND USE YOUR HEAD!!!

Even though it maybe in your heart to help out a stranger in need, remember this could happen.

Unfortunately this is an urban legend: http://www.trendmicro.com/vinfo/hoaxes/hoa...ase+Hoax&Page=7

However, I think that the general sentiment of the e-mail is wise: Be careful ladies!

Yes it may be an Urban ledgen but it could also have happened somewhere. This is the reason for my posting this. It is so sick and twisted that some people would do this to others.

I totally agree. It's just that with those hoax e-mails, they never really seem to die.

I know someone who was kidnapped from outside a store. She was taken away from the city and shot. All the guy did was approach her and ask her what time it was.

Be very careful.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
