Greetings LA,

No sir, I am not assuming that the 24 elders are the church. The 24 elders say they are redeemed out of every kindred and tongue and people and nation. For them to say that, there would have to be every kindred and tongue and people and nation present with them. That would be the church. Spockian logic is all that is needed.

You are  assuming! You are assuming that the KJV is exactly what is written in the original script- which we don't have.  Other manuscripts say something different:

And they sang a new song, saying:

“You are worthy to take the scroll     and to open its seals, because you were slain,     and with your blood you purchased for God
persons from every tribe and language and people and nation."

Wait! How do you know God did not CREATE the throne He sits on?

Hi iamlamad,

The word `throne` means authority, (not a seat, that is symbolic). God did not create His authority, His authority is of Himself. All other authority, (thrones) come from Him.

And Jesus as we know went to the right hand of the Father, to the ETERNAL THRONE, (authority) of the Godhead, from whence He came. And the Godhead dwells in unapproachable light, (1 Tim. 6: 16) Thus no one could go there, except Deity and Jesus is Deity.

Hi JohnD,

You will need other scriptures to see whether those `saints` are the Body of Christ or are they Israel.

`For the Lord has chosen Zion....... and her SAINTS shall shout aloud for joy,...` (Ps. 132: 13 - 16)

There we read that God has saints in Israel.

Thus you will need other scriptures to prove your case, and not just assuming it is the Body of Christ.

i agree with M. Here. You can’t assume SAINTS only means the Church. Like M. Showed you, it can also mean Israel. Why can’t it mean the Trib Saints as well. Do you not think there will be believers who come to Christ after the rapture?  What would call those believers?  Saints or Sinners?  Lol

You are not understanding what is happening here: these are ANGELS seeking someone who is worthy to take the book and open the seals. They searched heaven first, then earth, then under the earth, and this search ended in failure. "no man was found" to be worthy.

Sorry, no "men" in heaven at that time, except the elders, and we could guess, Enoch and Elijah, the two men who never died.

Not sure how you see no men in heaven when we can see the 24 elders are there and what they say indicates that the church is there also.

Yeah we can find that other translations usually say lots of different things. Which is the very reason to use the KVJ.

Hi Spock,

Good thinking there, bro. Yes trib saints, for the Body of Christ is a spiritual organism, and when complete will be taken to glory.

The word for `saints ` is Gk, word  `hagio` meaning sacred, holy, so that means any people who turn to God. The difference will be what group they are in, Israel, or Gentiles.

Marilyn.

Hi Spock,

Before we go on I need to know if you believe that -

1.God is Spirit and dwells in unapproachable light, beyond creation?

2.Yet, God by His Holy Spirit is omnipresent, everywhere?

3.God`s authority (His eternal throne) of Himself is beyond His creation?

4.God`s authority extends throughout His creation?

5.God made thrones etc positions of power within His creation?

Who is to say the KJV is always correct?  The truth is, we don't have any original manuscripts. However, in general, I agree; I like the KJV.

God WAS Spirit. But the body part of GOD BECAME flesh. You know this! He will forever have the flesh of His Creation.

We may never know how much this cost Him!

Yes, amazing to think, God the Holy Spirit is holding together the elements that make up hell, the fire, and the people in hell!

4 above: God lost His authority over earth when He gave it to Adam. Then Adam gave it to Satan. Slowly, through Abraham, God has gained some authority over earth back, through the church. Today WE have the authority, so God must work through the church.

When the 7th trumpet comes, God will get His authority on earth back.

You imagine what they say means the church is there. Many people disagree with you here.  We can agree the elders are there, but know one really knows WHO they are.

I can imagine too: perhaps they are [some of] the elders [of the old covenant] that Jesus rose up when He arose. (Matthew 27)
