Yeah..this is very true. Shimshon and I were just talking about this last night. Once that door opens for Messianic Jews to go back home...Bye..Bye American Pie.

I do believe it is a calling and not just another movement. I believe in the coming years we will see many more people 'coming out of her' to return to His ways, following and worshipping the way He intended and commanded.

I am not certain I understand what you mean by 'the door being opened for Messianic Jews' as far as Israel is concerned. I know at least a dozen messianics who have moved there in the last year. Are people finding it difficult to go for some reason?

Well, either the propagana machine is in full tilt here, which is most likely the case. Or else we have two realities. I'll admit, i've never set foot there to say for myself just what it's like. I only hear about it. So, I hear two vastly different things. One from people who live and been there. They say, what do you mean unsafe? And you can't go? It's more safe than the states and I know Messianics who moved there myself." :b: Then, from the rest you hear. Yisrael? :):) You want to move the the center of HELL? You want to become a part of the burdensome stone that brings the whole world down? You want to live in the midst of islam? Are YOU NUTS!?

The media here plays it like the front lines of world terroism. And it is. But as me and Ahavah were saying. Like we don't hear EVERY night on the news of someone getting shot rapped drugged exploded, (yes, meth houses explode all the time here), gang raped, B&E's driveby's....you name it, it happens here. And Portland is by far not the worst place i've been in. I was partly raised in the good ole west, Arizona. Were we wore guns openly as we rode our hogs down the road. And to boot I was born in the projects of the south bronx. Tell me, what am I scared of by an arab with a missile who is just learning how to use it? When I've seen and known associations like Hells Angels that can come and take you away never to be seen gain. And NOTHING is ever done about it. Because, they can't find your bones.

And on another point. Why would you remain giving you lifeblood to this or any other country when you can live in and give you heart and soul to the nation that birthed you. Now know, i'm talking about yehudim here. Not all christians. But I would not shut the door on them either. As is done.

SOOOOOO M4. Tell me about the Messianic commuinity in Yisrael. I know it exists, I hear they are very persecuted even by our own. But i've not known it to be 'easy' to be there. I hear you must be born in the land to be a Messianic?

I do believe I am able to make aliyah as my grandfather was Jewish from Poland and my grandmother from Hungary. I've read were if you are the son or grandson of a Jew you can make aliyah, but i've also heard if you profess Yeshua, the deals off. So, again. Have you heard different? I'd sure be interested. I'm just about ready to enter the gates and set up camp and wait for the rest of ya. :24:

:):):34: so happy! so happy!

I came to Messiah believing this is the last call, and I have watched others come with nothing but a testimony of God's leading, not even a testimony of someone leading.  I can attest to the fact that God lead me to the truth in His Word and then to others he had lead this far.
I heared someone say a while back that this was the "Quite Revival"

Is it the end of messages from God, Nah... God will inspire us through out eternity with His wonders. We are just beginning to understand.

I sent her a personal E-mail about how I was grateful for her friendship. :)

I don't believe that G-d is done giving out messages, but I'm just still wondering...Do ya really think that this Messianic intrest is just another movement then? Ya know..like the charismatic movement..the Latter rain movement ect...?

I can't recall any movement like this that has been calling people of of their churches and synagogues to become One in Yeshua.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I believe it is a move of the Lord, that is for sure, and I believe that it is helping the Church back to its roots.

This is necessary, because as we know, the fig tree (Israel) has put forth its leaves. God is moving the Church back to its roots because in the end, believers in Yeshua will be only friends Israel has.

I believe that this will be a dividing line within the Church. I don't believe that it is any coincidence that we see a crescendo of interest in the Messianic roots of the Christian faith alongside the regathering of the Jewish people back to the Land.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

do you think they know how much we love them? :)

Leaving On A Jet Plane by John Denver

-------------------------------------

:) All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go,

I'm standing here outside your door,(USA)

I hate to wake you up to say goodbye.

But the dawn is breaking, it's early morn,

God's taxi's waiting, He's blowing his horn,(Shofar)

Already I'm so lonesome I could cry.

So kiss me and smile for me, tell me that you'll follow me,

Hold me like you'll never let me go.

I'm leaving on a jet plane, don't know when I'll be back again.

Oh, USA, I have to go.

I haven't spoken to my friends about the particulars of moving there, as I am not in a place where I can do so just yet, so I'm not really certain what its all about. I also don't get to see or speak with them terribly often.

None of them were born there (all are from Pikesville), two families are Jewish (Messianic) and I also know a Messianic Gentile believer (Torah observant) who lives there. All of them absolutely love it there, I mean really love it, you can tell that they are anxious to get back whenever they are visiting here. The two families have 6 and 4 children respectively, the Gentile man works with a missionary group there which sometimes does work in conjunction with the Israeli military (menial stuff like pulling weeds on bases, digging, stuff they don't neccessarily have the manpower for). None of them have ever complained about the community treating them poorly. All of them lived in Pikesville (Baltimore) which has the second largest population of Jews outside if Israel (NY is #1), they found the Pikesville community to be rather.....antagonistic toward their professed faith in Messiah, none have voiced any problems with this in Israel.

I am certain that there are members of the Israeli population that do not take kindly to Messianic believers, but I believe the majority of them are at the very least fairly ambivalent, I know that some even accept the Messianic movement as a valid sect of Judaism.

I believe that the only way to be the head and not the tail is to follow those who follow the Shepherd, and ya gotta let them into the pasture first to do that!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
