Umm...  Sibs?  Not to say I believe he's truly not guilty, in fact I have not followed the trial and evidence and so I have no worthwhile opinion myself, but what of any brothers and sisters here who believe in his innocence?  Why does this have to be a miscarriage of justice?

I realize the chance of him going through this twice while being truly innocent is slim, but we really shouldn't assume the worst anyway when our courts aquitted him.  After all, didn't the jurors hear just a bit more than we did?

Of course I wouldn't trust any of my kids (if I had any) to be alone with him, but I'm just sayin'...  :o

You must however agree, if it were some everyday Joe like you or I, we'd be hanging from the gallows right now, so to speak...

I pray he gets saved before he leaves this world. Otherwise, he's going to face a judge who has all the facts.

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;

Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;

Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Isaiah 5:20

Vengeance is Mine, and recompense;

Their foot shall slip in due time;

For the day of their calamity is at hand,

And the things to come hasten upon them. Deut. 32:35

He hasn't gotten away with anything. Justice will be served. I hope he enjoys is money and fame while it lasts, because that's all he will have.

In Christ,

CarolineS

Did you hear the oxymoron of a statement one of the jurors said?

She said well that lady should have had more sense than to send her son go out to Neverland in the first place.

Will someone please tell me whats wrong with that statement? Sounds like she knows Michael is guilty but blames everything on the mom.

Just a little something for any who may be holding bitterness in their hearts for perceived misjustice (again, I am not going to judge our system- he made it through and was acquitted by a jury of his peers and so is no longer to be presumed guilty. That's how the system works in America. I seriously doubt anyone was "paid off"). Oh, and no I don't agree that the everyday joe would be hanging from the gallows, unless of course he were assigned an attorney by the court- apparently they are trained to negotiate a settlement by any means rather than try the case. My friend had one of them once. Anyway:

1 John 3:11-18

For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. We should not be like Cain, who was of the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own deeds were evil and his brother's righteous. Do not be surprised, brothers, that the world hates you. We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. Whoever does not love abides in death. Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.

And please don't presume that I think he's innocent- I don't. I don't know all the facts, but again the jurors did (though which facts were lies and which weren't...). As you say, if he really did do those crimes he will be judged as any of us are judged for our sin.

My daughter is a big MJ fan. So I have heard all the details of the case..in detail...sigh...

Look, I don't know if he is really guilty or innocent, but as I told her when she was waiting for the verdict to be read today....We must remember that the jury has been listening to all the testimony given, they have weighed the evidence, and they have made their decision. We cannot only think the systen works when it works out the way we think it should come out.

I listened to the interviews with the jury after the trial.. They semed like nice people who did their best with what they had. I guess the DA just didn't make his case.

God knows the details. It is all in His hands anyway. May He get the glory no matter what.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
