criticising the media

I love the fact that we in the US have a free press.

We get to know what is going on in our "government" which word I put in quotes because often there is far more investigating and political-hack work going on rather than actual governing... 

And yet I often hate "the media"

Even Fox News gets on my nerves. They are always covering the "important people" They only seem to cover the less-important people (less important because don't have a name or big money) when doing so is relative to what is going on with some IMPORTANT person. Example: When Kate Steinle was killed by an illegal who had (I believe) been deported numerous times and (I believe) was a felon in possession of a firearm.. well, she was a nobody but that story was important because it had to do with the Somebodies (so called). I mean, Republicans in DC wanted to use the illegal immigration issue to get elected, just as the Democrats wanted (and still want) to avoid the issue if it causes people to not want to vote for them.

The Steinle story was important for all people, nobodies and somebodies alike. I would never say that the media should not have covered that story (I doubt the liberal media DID cover it.. don't know.. don't watch CorruptNot-News)

But why is it that the stories of everyday Americans who suffer egregious wrongs at the hands of "government" have to suffer in silence because the media on both political sides do not want to cover their stories?

There are people who have, for example, lost property and etc.. to the government, no due process.. didn't have that all-important thing called MONEY for court costs and etc... 

There are people who have lost in even worse ways: people who have unjustly lost custody of their children to "Child protective services" so called. I have never heard a story about that. I seriously doubt either lib or conservative media have covered any stories about that. It is like government in general gets a pass... until people working in high up positions in said government happen to use said government to influence an election.

Contumelious Not-news Network aka CNN is not "media"

it is a branch of the DNC,

a propaganda spouting, lie-promoting, opinion-fest... Frankenstein-like monstrosity

so anyway, now that we have made it clear that that station and many others are a mouthpiece for the left... which

I had to do,  because some people just don't pay enough attention or read enough non-fiction to know that, we are better able to sort out truth from error

You know. If that is how you feel. You don't have to watch CNN. CNN is just one of many many News networks out there.  I mean I don't like FOX. But I don't come here everyday and post what I think about them and go off on a rant. I just don't watch them.  Sometimes it is good to take a break from the News media. Even I do that sometimes.  Just a thought.

And the Republicans are going to vote No on impeachment no matter what Trump did or keeps on doing because Trump is a Republican!
