The nice thing about the movie version is, they stay away from all the anti-God parts of the book. Makes it, easier on the heart. (My experience anyways,) Not me edit; makes the movie version definitely worth a watch. Edited December 2, 2019 by Not me

I hope the book is more nuanced than the films. I arrived at the end of the third movie and felt like I'd wasted my time on a cheap propaganda piece. Maybe didn't help that they changed actors every movie, but I found the whole premise ridiculous.
