Thru much thought, I have come to realize that it is what is in the heart that matters to God. He knows our intentions, even if they are not carried out.

I know we have a lot of missionaries in poor countries, third world countries, but we cannot reach everyone. How will God judge those people, if they don't know the truth about God. Of course, I am assuming they don't know who God is, maybe some do.

I don't know where, but I thought I read that Jesus will not come back until all have heard of the Truth of God. To me, this is gonna take a long time, cuz of all the people we have not yet reached.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Thank you,

Rachel H.

Actually every country in the world knows who Jesus is or have heard the Name, the muslims heard and rejected, baddest heard and rejected, rastafarrians (sp?) heard and rejected, etc...

There may be some individuals who have not heard of the Name but this is a small percentage, however, lets look at the text:

Matt 24:13 "But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.

14 "This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.

15 "Therefore when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand),

The gospel has been preached in every nation in the world, this has been fulfilled. It really doesn't say until every individual has heard the gospel.

Mark 13:10 "The gospel must first be preached to all the nations.

Hope that helps.

Wow, this is a great reply. Thank you for clearing up some of my questions.

So, being this has been done, Jesus could come back at any time, right?

Thanks for your help...

Actually there are still many people who haven't heard the gospel. Hearing the name Jesus is not equivalent to hearing the gospel. Although many muslims and other people have heard the gospel and rejected it, there are still many who do not know who Jesus is or what his mission was on earth. If you go to the eastern hemisphere and ask them about Jesus, many who have just heard the name automatically equate Jesus with Capitalism/America and since most are taught to hate america they also hate Jesus without knowing who he is. But, if one has heard the gospel and what Christ did for them and still decides to reject him, Woa unto them. There are but a few countries that still make it illegal for Missionaries to enter their countries and when God allows us to get in their, the work will be accomplished and he will return. I do believe that is very soon seeing that this world no longer knows what is right and what is wrong. I don't think God is going to be like, "Well all my children are ready, those Muslims and Buddist and the rest of them aren't going to know or change their minds so I'm just going to come now." There are Billions of people over their and Christianity Maybe huge over hear, but you have to remember that the majority of the population of this world is over there. If you notice, the gospel spreads more easily over in those other countries because believe in Jesus is a hope in something. Many of us over here have conditioned ourselves to not have a need for God/a Savior.

I think about the countries like Sierra Leon, and the country where they put a large piece of wood in their bottom lip or chin area.

Will we ever reach those people? Someone told me that God will judge them as a measure of what they have in their heart.

Thanks for your post...

Greetings Rachel,

In one sense you are correct, but we must never forget:

Acts 4:10-12 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Jesus also makes this statement:

Matthew 10:32-33 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

So what "power" does God give us or that He uses to bring salvation to the unbeliever:

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

So you may ask about those who have not heard:

Romans 10:14-18 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. 18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

Now, we can either speculate (falsely) that there are those who have not heard, OR we can believe God that indeed He has reached out to every soul that has ever lived and sought those who sincerely sought Him. In the OT, we see many times where God searched for that particular soul who was sincere and stood righteous before God through faith, such as Noah, Abraham, Joshua, the prophets and on an on. He is ever searching the hearts of every man, woman and child. Even among those who "have not heard", because He has made Himself known through His creation:

Romans 1:19-20 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

So, when you hear the fallacies of God not being fair because there are those who have not heard the Gospel message, you can point them to these scriptures and ask the naysayer for proof that ANY soul has never once received the eye opener that there was indeed a (The) God (before they died). It is, of course, impossible for them to do so.

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

Thank you, Ernie, for your information. My understanding is growing. I do not know much about the Bible, and am ashamed, as I have been saved for 15 years. Thanks for taking the time to post...

i think Dad Ernie was referring to me when he was metioning those who present false ideas on whether everyone has heard the gospel. :whistling: If not please disregard this. :noidea: There are still those who have not heard of Christ and because the devil knows that he has but a short time, he works that much harder to make sure that many do not hear. But Christ will be heard and when he is heard by everyone then he will return.

Sorry, I had no thought of you or anyone else in particular when I wrote my post. But you are in error when you think that God would allow someone to die without first receiving -some- sort of draw in his/her life to God. He wishes that NONE should perish, but apparently you don't think so.

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

Hi Dad Ernie,

you stated:

I've never stated that God doesn't care about those who perish and without receiving some sort of draw to God in their lives. I was just stating that God will not come until every one has been given some type of knowlege of the Gospel of Christ. But, there are instances where a question comes to mind on whether someone would perish w/o even a whisper of the gospel. For example, you notice that the bible writes in the context of people who had dealings with God's people. There is no mention of Chinese or Native Americans in the bible. But I don't think that God will be unmerciful with them. I'm sure that all men, whether good/bad have a knowledge of what is right and what is wrong. I believe that God will judge those who weren't able to hear the gospel, by the "light" that was given to them. Sorry If this is in opposition to what you may believe. But I do agree with you that God is doing everything possible to allow the world to know that there is a savior. :b:

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
