Something interesting I saw in YouTube.  People were asked to say what types of toxic behaviour in their opinion have been generally socially accepted but in reality shouldn't be.

Here are some of mine-

Shaming people for their interests. Eg looking down for people who play video games or watch cartoons as immature while playing games like dominoes for hours or being  fanatic about sports is accepted. So long as its legal and moral what's wrong with them.

Criticizing racism but accepting  nationalityism.

I've had CHRISTIANS warn me  off of certain nationalities (dating wise) because theyre 'tricky' one man ever saidwomen from my country (which he left as a child and hadn't loved in since ) aren't submissive and most can't cook so had never want one.

Degrading men due to being  a virgin. I had a birthday hangout ruined by 2 friends  repeatedly doing this this me.  Never held once since.

Boasting about how drunk they have gotten or will get .

What are some of yours?

The whole world is toxic, my man. Shake the dust off your feet at it.

First of all I would not give those on "facebook" a lot of validity.

For the sake of argument...

could you show where this is confirmed in the New Covenant?

As opposed to stoning people for adultery (Leviticus 20:10).

and lets remind ourselves what adultery includes (according to the Old Covenant Law)

Leviticus 18:8 (AV)
8 The nakedness of thy father’s wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father’s nakedness.

Isaiah 47:1–3 (AV)
1 Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate.
2 Take the millstones, and grind meal: uncover thy locks, make bare the leg, uncover the thigh, pass over the rivers.
3 Thy nakedness shall be uncovered, yea, thy shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet thee as a man.

I don't know about you, but I'm ready to take up rocks to throw in then next Sunday goin' to meetin' services!

To say nothing about the unchurched outside world!

Why would I care if it's confirmed in the New Covenant?

God told us homosexuality is an abomination. He always tells the truth.

God has told us that the acts of homosexuality are wrong.

God has not told us that celibate homosexuals are an abomination. Jesus died for all of us.

A sinful thought is a sinful thought.

All sins, heterosexual, homosexual, ones of murderous thoughts, or thoughts of theft - all are sinful.

A homosexual does not occupy a special place of being extra sinful just by existing. Their sins are dealt with the same way as any other sins.

A celibate homosexual Christian is no different from a celibate heterosexual single Christian in the eyes of God.

If you aren't thinking sinful thoughts or doing sinful things, you aren't sinning.

You are missing my point.

I understand you to be saying that simply being homosexual in inclination is a sin, and therefore more of a sinner than a heterosexual when it comes to thoughts and feelings of a desire. That being a homosexual means that human being is an abomination to God just by existing, even if celibate.

I am saying that this is not the case.

Have I misunderstood you?

If you aren't thinking sinful thoughts, then  you don't have a homosexual inclination.

I dont get it.

Are you saying that a man or woman can stop feeling any desire, just switch their desires off - full stop?

If not, then heterosexuals and homosexuals are no different.

Are you saying that homosexuals are MORE sinful than heterosexuals if they are both celibate outside marriage? Its not a trick question. Do you view them all the same, ir do you consider homosexuals as more sinful?

If someone commits a homosexual act, that doesn't mean he is a homosexual forever, for the same reason that if I steal a candy bar as a child, that doesn't make me a thief forever.

that is still not answering my question.

What is your attitude towards celibate homosexuals?

You seem to be saying they are a worse kind of person than celibate single heterosexuals and have to stop being homosexual inside in order to be acceptable to God.

If you are celibate in thought and deed, you are not a homosexual.

This was a deal breaker for me when I was dating. Would never have married a man who played video games and watched cartoons. It’s okay to have preferences.

no one is celibate in thought.

Right, so you are saying there are no homosexuals or heterosexuals when thoughts are pure? No inclinations or desires? They are all a neuter human?

Whatever gave you the idea no one is celibate in thought?
