Hello everyone

I read Romans last night and found a few verses that I need help in understanding brethern. I have put them down below. If you can explain one or two it would help me a lot thanks

Romans:3  3-8

I will post very brief answers to your questions to keep this post limited.

1st passage -- Romans 3:3-8 -- Read the context and verses 1-2 asks the question, Is there an advantage to being a Jew? -- the rest of the passage explains that there is no one just.

Verse 30 -- I am posting this verse with the NASB to clarify the meaning -- "since indeed God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith is one."

Romans 5:13 -- This is discussing that before the law in the time before the fall of man with Adam and Eve there was no law because man was perfect.  After the fall of man then the Law of God went into effect.  

Romans 5:14 -- that the messiah would come in the form of a man.

Romans 8:18-25 -- basically discussing the present world in its decaying state but the hope of our redemption in the near future.

Romans 10:6-7 -- the descension and the ascension of Christ after his death is a deep theological topic and should be another thread in of itself.  But I'll let you study this on your own and ask the Lord to reveal the meaning -- Proverbs 30:4  Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son

I just want to comment to you that you are asking all the right questions.  Don't ever feel lame for not understanding something, the only way to learn is to be honest and say you don't understand.  Even seemingly simple terms and principles I am discovering that people don't all agree to their meaning.  For instance, what is the KINGDOM?  Not to derail the Romans verses you are trying to unlock, just to point out that it's not a dumb question.

Dear Adstar,

Just wanted to let you know I am currently asking on those verses you are asking about.  I am not able to convey in words yet what they mean.  I know "in my heart", but I do not yet know how to translate them on this board, but I am seeking.  Just as I am sure you are too.  I will be responding though, probably later today, as I do plan to be in the Word most of the day today.

There are many to respond to, but I will be able to post on some of them today later.

I like your "By" and "Through" observations it is the type of explanation I am looking for. I need help in understanding the wording of these verses.
