I started riding motorcycles about 50 years ago.....here in Ohio we have these pain-in-the-rear Mandatory Helmet Laws. In all my years of riding, I have had only one wreck. An old lady pulled out in front of me at a stop sign and I grabbed the brakes so hard I went over the front of the bike and landed on the top of my head. Had I not been wearing a helmet I would have been killed.If it was “ the deep state” or if it were an example of too much government control, or maybe a plot by Bill Gates to take over the world that forced me to wear that helmet— I don’t really care. I thank whoever was responsible for that government “ over reach”. This same flaunting Of Power by the Evil State May wind up saving me ( I am 67) and perhaps my Mother ( she is 92) .
