In another forum  "What would you have done?" you inferred that it's ok to go against your parents wishes as long as it's for a good reason.

I never said anything of the sort. The girl in that post didn't go against her parent's wishes. They didn't say she couldn't be baptized, she just chose to be. But in response to your post, I will say that I agree with Tess when she said:

  The only "good reason" to disobey parents or authority figures is if they ask you to go against God. Any other reason is not a good enough reason.

If my post implied anything other than this, I apologize for the misunderstanding. We are to honor our parents and obedience is part of that. If parents tell a child to do something that goes against God or His Word, then I believe the child should obey God, rather than their parents. Hope that cleared things up.

It's hard to be bored, isn't it? Especially when you're a teen! I feel for you. You are uniquely creative though!! That's a wonderful thing! I'm sure you can come up with some alternatives. How about recommending something else to do when your friends say, "Hey, let's watch this movie!" Wish I could tell you some fun things to do, but I haven't been to England for quite awhile and don't know what's around you! I have faith in you though!

I KNOW He is there.. but i am talking if Jesus was there in the flesh.. would we all do what we do at times?? We all know He is here with us, but we still continue to make our mistakes. But if Jesus was standing or sitting face to face with us.. what would we do? Would we sit and watch that movie.. and make Jesus watch it too? Its just the same as what would Jesus do.. what would we do?? Peace and Blessings ..

He taught that we are most likey to sin when we are:

H - Hungry

A - Angry

L - Lonely

T - Tired...

Keep this in mind next time you might not feel right about doing something...
