The Religion of Just Happened

Religion can be defined as a personal set or system of attitudes, beliefs, and practices. Religion is the contrivance of mankind, it is not of God. The topic here is the religion of just happened. This religion starts with young minds contemplating their reality as human beings. Many questions arise concerning their existence on a planet full of life in a vast universe. Was all this created or did it just happen somehow?

 

The prophets of the religion of just happened publish scriptural theory for peer review to be eventually canonized. The prophets defiantly deny the Creator and with a depraved attitude share their revelations. From the cosmos down to the molecular these prophets disregard the evidence of wisdom and knowledge in what they observe and measure.

 

The religion of just happened requires great faith along with strong delusion. In this religion it is essential to have exponential faith in a consensus called science. To the faithful science is their god and their source of understanding all phenomena. Their god science has many temples of research globally that are generously funded. Despite astronomical impossibilities the disciple must maintain their faith in the god science.

 

With rejection of the Creator the religion of just happened must resolve one enormous natural reality: the many kinds of life. The planet earth is teeming with life. Earth alone has the conditions necessary for life and nothing in our observable universe comes remotely close. The disciple must not lose faith but accept the word of their god science and maintain the delusion of just happened.

 

The core denomination of the religion of just happened is called academe or education. Education is one of Satan’s main spheres of activity. At all levels of academics Satan’s indoctrination and brainwashing are evident. Scriptural doctrine and theories are preached world-wide in classrooms and lecture halls. The devout disciple is overwhelmed by the many educational resources.

 

The religion of just happened has a growing congregation. Their faithful body of followers are numerous and positioned in societies to do the most harm by promoting the attitudes, beliefs and practices of the religion of just happened.

 

Matt.15:14 Let them alone:

they be blind leaders of the blind.

And if the blind lead the blind,

Let me share a little bit of my vision for the ministry in a parable.

Let's say I'm throwing a big party and am inviting the world to the party (the forums) and I want everyone to have a great time, eating (reading through posts being fed), drinking (being encouraged to walk in His Word), and having fellowship with one another.  In Israel, we have Shabbat meals -- and whenever you have 2 Jews -- you have 3 opinions -- it's GREAT to be opinionated.  I encourage discussions ... but during our Shabbat meals ... we never ever get to the point in disagreements whereby food is being tossed and seriously yelling takes place!  And if someone comes into the meal ... and starts throwing food ... and yells at everyone -- what do you suppose the head of the Shabbat meal will do?  He'll escort those causing problems out of the house!  Why?  Because the whole reason for the gathering was to learn from one another ... to have a great time of fellowship!  

Some people like to constantly throw food and yell ... they won't last on Worthy ... because they missed the point of the party ... it's a prequel to the true party -- the Lamb's Supper!  

All I'm trying to provide is a place to allow true fellowship ... and discussions in love ... in the hopes it will be a catalyst for true REVIVAL based on REPENTANCE!

I can see Public education falling under your description, however, private, Christian, schools do not fit this idea.

Yes, thankyou teddyv. Your satire is important to us. 

  There's something of a paradox in the post Wayne opens his time here with. It seems to me his belief, and his expression of it, actually fit the description of religion which he professes and believes is a set or system of attitudes, beliefs, and practices. The Bible is not opposed to any of these if they are aligned with God's Word and His Will.

Jas 1:27  Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

I have a hard time swallowing even that. Broad-brushing entire educational systems (globally at that) from kindergarten to universities is not warranted at all. It just reads like an anti-intellectual rant.

It's satire about the atheistic evolution (hence: "just happened") that is taught in most schools, colleges and universities.  It does not read like an anti-intellectual rant at all.
