I've been through a lot of schools, but not one public school or college ever taught "atheistic evolution."   In fact, my first college course in evolution was taught by a devout Christian who was on the vestry board of his local church.

It's a common superstition that "atheistic evolution" is taught in colleges, but that just wrong.   You might as well talk about "atheistic electronics."

I was taught atheistic evolution, in books I read when a child, at school and then at university.  The whole basis for the suppositions behind evolution is materialism.

I used to review textbooks in biology.   Never saw it once.   Name me a biology textbook that teaches atheistic anything.

I'll make a point of nailing the publisher and getting that out to as many universities as I can.   What do you have?

I don't have them any more.  In any case, they would all be very outdated by now, since I went to university in 1982.

The universe did not just happen. Everything follows the  Laws of Science. According to Tyson we are star stuff. The Stuff or the elements that we are made of were created in the furnace of a star. The universe started out as hydrogen helium lithium beryllium. All the other elements were created from these four. People can deny that the laws of science come from God but they have no alternate explanation. We do not even know why these elements rapidly form themselves into stars.

It's more of a blatant falsehood than a simple anti-intellectual rant.   Truth is, evolution is not about how life or the universe began.   No one teaches atheism in public schools.   You might as well talk about "atheistic math."

I don't know where you live; but, here (Britain), atheistic evolution is definitely taught.  It is taught that life evolved from non-life (abiogenesis) and God is completely left out of the picture.  The whole thing is based on materialism and natural processes.

Atheism is not taught by name; it is taught by stealth.

That's not atheism.  That's not even agnosticism.    Public schools are prohibited by our religious freedoms in the First Amendment, from advocating religion or denying religion.  So they just don't bring it up.   Fortunately, science works the same way if you believe in God or if you don't.   Just like plumbing.    I would assume that Britain observes religious freedom as well, and thereby doesn't teach religion or atheism.

 Failing to teach your religion, is not the same thing as teaching atheism.
