Usually, when it comes to writing a story, one would also have to come up with a set cast of character(s). It is common knowledge -for those that have been browsing writing tips online- that, for a character to be interesting and likeable (which has a significant effect on the whole story, too), there must always be some sort of character flaw. Since I've been getting into writing, creating fictitious tales, and so on... I was wondering if the whole idea of writing a character that's flawed (and I mean in a moral sense, such as: greed, lying, fear. And not physically, like a broken leg or anything that might be considered external rather than internal) is not a good way to spend one's time as a follower of Jesus Christ. Because, are we not all meant to be perfect? Perfect, however, doesn't make for an interesting story - as far as I've heard. What are your thoughts about this? I'd like to discuss this topic more.
