But in the only two examples Jesus used from the O.T., both cases show that the judgment from above on the wicked people came on the SAME DAY that God's people were removed, not before. And it overtook the wicked suddenly, by surprise and they did not escape. "Therefore stay awake—for you do not know when the master of the house will come, in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning—lest he come suddenly and find you asleep. And what I say to you I say to all: Stay awake." They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might when he comes on that Day to be glorified in his saints, and to be marveled at among all who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed. Its simple, the judgment of end times doesnt come in one hour like Sodom or in 40 days of rain like Noah deluge but it comes in 7 years. So after the wise virgins are taken the foolish virgins left n face the Tribulation.

(I don't think it will be 7 yrs. but that is another topic) However, it does clearly show that the bride groom doesn't come as early as they thought He would. In fact, He comes so they can be with him and go to the desired place at the darkest, most dangerous time in the entire story. Moreover, five of the virgins are found shut out in the darkness in the SAME DAY as the others are allowed to ENTER IN. Luke 17:30- “It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed...........don't believe this?
