A simple challenge for you. What is it that makes you a Christian? What do you have that makes Jesus's statement that no one can snatch you out of his hand, to be nonsense? If God is laying on your heart that you have something that needs repenting of, then always do it. But without knowing what's going on, it's hard to say. Many times, possibly even most times, the struggles we face are simply part of life, and God uses them to grow our faith in and reliance on him.
