Are Fossils evidence of evolution ....or are the evidence of fossils

6Now the Lord answered Job from a tempest and said,		ווַיַּֽעַן־יְהֹוָ֣ה אֶת־אִ֖יּוֹב מִ֥ן | (כתיב מִ֥נ) סְעָרָ֗ה וַיֹּֽאמַר:
7"Now gird your loins like a man; I will ask you and [you] tell Me.		זאֲזָר־נָ֣א כְגֶ֣בֶר חֲלָצֶ֑יךָ אֶ֜שְׁאָֽלְךָ֗ וְהוֹדִיעֵֽנִי:
8Will you even make void My judgment? Will you condemn Me in order that you be justified?		חהַאַף תָּפֵ֣ר מִשְׁפָּטִ֑י תַּ֜רְשִׁיעֵ֗נִי לְמַ֣עַן תִּצְדָּֽק:
9Do you have an arm like God, or do you thunder like Him with [your] voice?		טוְאִם־זְר֖וֹעַ כָּאֵ֥ל | לָ֑ךְ וּבְ֜ק֗וֹל כָּמֹ֥הוּ תַרְעֵֽם:
10Bedeck yourself now with pride and excellence, and clothe yourself with glory and beauty.		יעֲדֵ֥ה נָ֣א גָא֣וֹן וָגֹ֑בַהּ וְה֖וֹד וְהָדָ֣ר תִּלְבָּֽשׁ:
11Scatter your raging anger, see any haughty man and humble him.		יאהָפֵץ עֶבְר֣וֹת אַפֶּ֑ךָ וּרְאֵ֥ה כָל־גֵּ֜אֶ֗ה וְהַשְׁפִּילֵֽהוּ:
12See any haughty man and subdue him, and crush the wicked in their place.		יברְאֵ֣ה כָל־גֵּ֖אֶה הַכְנִיעֵ֑הוּ וַֽהֲדֹ֖ךְ רְשָׁעִ֣ים תַּחְתָּֽם:
13Hide them in the dust together; bind up their faces in a hidden place.		יגטָמְנֵ֣ם בֶּֽעָפָ֣ר יָ֑חַד פְּ֜נֵיהֶ֗ם חֲבֹ֣שׁ בַּטָּמֽוּן:
14I too will confess to you that your right hand will save you.		ידוְגַם־אֲנִ֥י אוֹדֶ֑ךָּ כִּֽי־תוֹשִׁ֖יעַ לְךָ֣ יְמִינֶֽךָ:
15Behold now the behemoth that I have made with you; he eats grass like cattle.		טוהִנֵּה־נָ֣א בְ֖הֵמוֹת אֲשֶׁר־עָשִׂ֣יתִי עִמָּ֑ךְ חָ֜צִ֗יר כַּבָּקָ֥ר יֹאכֵֽל:
16Behold now his strength is in his loins and his power is in the navel of his belly.		טזהִנֵּה־נָ֣א כֹח֣וֹ בְמָתְנָ֑יו וְ֜אוֹנ֗וֹ בִּשְׁרִירֵ֥י בִטְנֽוֹ:
17His tail hardens like a cedar; the sinews of his testicles are knit together.		יזיַחְפֹּ֣ץ זְנָב֣וֹ כְמוֹ־אָ֑רֶז גִּידֵ֖י פַֽחֲדָ֣יו (כתיב פַֽחֲדָ֣ו) יְשׂרָֽגוּ:
18His limbs are as strong as copper, his bones as a load of iron.		יחעֲצָמָיו אֲפִיקֵ֣י נְחוּשָׁ֑ה גְּ֜רָמָ֗יו כִּמְטִ֥יל בַּרְזֶֽל:
19His is the first of God's ways; [only] his Maker can draw His sword [against him].		יטה֖וּא רֵאשִׁ֣ית דַּרְכֵי־אֵ֑ל הָ֜עֹשׂוֹ יַגֵּ֥שׁ חַרְבּֽוֹ:
20For the mountains bear food for him, and all the beasts of the field play there.		ככִּי־ב֖וּל הָרִ֣ים יִשְׂאוּ־ל֑וֹ וְֽכָל־חַיַּ֥ת הַ֜שָּׂדֶ֗ה יְשַֽׂחֲקוּ־שָֽׁם:
21Does he lie under the shadows, in the covert of the reeds and the swamp?		כאתַּֽחַת־צֶֽאֱלִ֥ים יִשְׁכָּ֑ב בְּסֵ֖תֶר קָנֶ֣ה וּבִצָּֽה:
22Do the shadows cover him as his shadow? Do the willows of the brook surround him?		כביְסֻכֻּ֣הוּ צֶֽאֱלִ֣ים צִלְל֑וֹ יְ֜סֻבּ֗וּהוּ עַרְבֵי־נָֽחַל:
23Behold, he plunders the river, and [he] does not harden; he trusts that he will draw the Jordan into his mouth.		כגהֵ֚ן יַֽעֲשֹׁ֣ק נָ֖הָר וְלֹ֣א יַחְפּ֑וֹז יִבְטַ֓ח | כִּֽי־יָגִ֖יחַ יַרְדֵּ֣ן אֶל־פִּֽיהוּ:
24With His eyes He will take him; with snares He will puncture his nostrils.		כדבְּעֵינָ֥יו יִקָּחֶ֑נּוּ בְּ֜מֽוֹקְשִׁ֗ים יִנְקָב־אָֽף:
25Can you pull the leviathan with a harpoon, or press down his tongue with a rope?		כהתִּמְשֹׁ֣ךְ לִוְיָתָ֣ן בְּחַכָּ֑ה וּ֜בְחֶ֗בֶל תַּשְׁקִ֥יעַ לְשׁוֹנֽוֹ:
26Can you insert a fishhook into his nose, or pierce his jaw with a barb?		כוהֲתָשִׂ֣ים אַגְמֹ֣ן בְּאַפּ֑וֹ וּ֜בְח֗וֹחַ תִּקֹּ֥ב לֶֽחֱיֽוֹ:
27Will he offer much supplication to you, or will he speak soft words to you?		כזהֲיַרְבֶּ֣ה אֵ֖לֶיךָ תַּֽחֲנוּנִ֑ים אִם־יְדַבֵּ֖ר אֵלֶ֣יךָ רַכּֽוֹת:
28Will he make a covenant with you? Will you take him as a lifelong slave?		כחהֲיִכְרֹ֣ת בְּרִ֣ית עִמָּ֑ךְ תִּ֜קָּחֶ֗נּוּ לְעֶ֣בֶד עוֹלָֽם:
29Will you play with him like a bird or tie him to your maidens?		כטהַֽתְשַׂחֶק־בּ֖וֹ כַּצִּפּ֑וֹר וְ֜תִקְשְׁרֶ֗נּוּ לְנַֽעֲרוֹתֶֽיךָ:
30Will charmers dig pits for him? Will they divide him among the merchants?		ליִכְר֣וּ עָ֖לָיו חַבָּרִ֑ים יֶֽ֜חֱצ֗וּהוּ בֵּ֣ין כְּנַֽעֲנִֽים:
31Will you fulfill [your desire] to make a tent of his skin or a shade of fishes of his head?		לאהַֽתְמַלֵּ֣א בְשֻׂכּ֣וֹת עוֹר֑וֹ וּבְצִלְצַ֖ל דָּגִ֣ים רֹאשֽׁוֹ:
32Put your hand over him; remember the battle, do not stop.		לבשִֽׂים־עָלָ֥יו כַּפֶּ֑ךָ זְכֹ֥ר מִ֜לְחָמָ֗ה אַל־תּוֹסַֽף:

Though that length of days is unknown, and metamorphosis adaption and mutation don’t need a long time.

God is revealing specifics to water/land life as in the waters just did not bring fish into existence.  God is describing in detail their genetics, their behaviors, their food, their patterns and habits because God gave it to them.

Ooops no you can't go there. If you are going to use the bible as an authority to make your point you cannot discount  what it says to defend your point

God says it was a day, and is NO indication at all that he meant anything else.

Either take Him at his word all the way, or leave it alone

It's NOT SOME ACCIDENT that God allowed.  He personally tells Job He gave these Species these Traits/habits/skills/genetics.  He says it right in the Book of Job!

When the waters was split, everything was already in the waters below to do what they do, thus let the waters and let the earth.

And you cannot know the earth was spinning at the rate it is today when the earth was formed, and you have a  problem before the sun on a couple of days.

If you are applying a literal 24 hour day not sure you meant that I have to ask.

Correct which is WHY we have to take God at HIS Word

He said DAY for reason. The same reason that establish 1 week of time ending in the sabbath.

I’ll agree I cannot know each day was 1,440,000,000 years and you cannot know if it was 24 hour day. even on earth a evening and morning can range from 12 hours to six months.
