CABLE CONTROVERSY: CNN AGREES TO AIR BLOODY ABORTION AD ON JUDGE ROBERTS

CNN has reviewed and agreed to run a controversial ad produced by a pro-abortion group that falsely accuses Supreme Court nominee John Roberts of filing legal papers supporting a convicted clinic bomber!

The news network has agreed to a $125,000 ad buy from NARAL, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned, for a commercial which depicts a bombed out 1998 Birmingham, AL abortion clinic.

The Birmingham clinic was bombed seven years after Roberts signed the legal briefing.

The linking of Roberts to "violent fringe groups" is the sharpest attack against the nominee thus far.

He filed a report concerning a law made in the 1800's refering to Ku Klux Klan meetings and if that law prohibiting them in public places applied to abortion protestors...that's the law this add is talking about.

I'd say it's more than a misrepresentation, it's an outright lie.

I don't agree with the misrepresentation of the judge, but I also think referring to the group as "pro-abortion" is also misleading. being pro-choice doesn't mean you are "pro-abortion"....it means what it says....pro-CHOICE. The right to CHOOSE.

Murder should not be a choice nor a right. Thus, "pro-abortion" is the correct term, it is "pro-murder". THat's like saying, "THe nazis had a right to choose to kill the Jews, even wrong" and labeling that person "pro-choice" instead of "pro-nazi".

A play on words

Perhaps pro-choice people like that term instead of pro-abortion because it sounds less murderous than what it factually is.
