Let Him direct your path....I was in ignorance in that area for a long time...no wonder everything went wrong...I put myself first.?...

Jesus ,every morning I wake up....Lord please lead me through my day....i don’t believe that it will necessarily be a good day....but I hand it over to God and not worry...

I find that the more I strike out on my own, the m0re trouble I get into.  If Jesus is not my captain, if the Holy Sprit is not leading me but playing catch up, sooner or later this plane of life I am flying is going to end up as a smudge on a mountain top.

More than a few of us, have Jesus along for the ride when he should be piloting our lives

A Pilot

  • Selects the flight plan
  • Adjusts the flight plan  as needed
  • Is responsible for everyone on the plane
  • Makes the final call when it is safe to fly and when we should stay grounded
  • Flies the plane
  • Issues orders that are beneficial both for the journey and the passengers

A Co-Pilot

  • assists, the pilot,
  • Files the pilots flight plan
  • Takes care of the check lists
  • Makes sure the fuel is on b0ard
  • Occasionally takes the wheel and flies
  • Follows orders

Jesus should be leading, and we should be following

Proverbs 3:5Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.

-------------

Romans 8: 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

-------------

John 14:4 And where I go you know, and the way you know.”

5 Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?”

6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Life as a Christian means putting God first, submitting to His will, and trusting in his guidance, wisdom and knowledge to make sure we are going to arrive at our intended destination.

If you have brought Jesus along for the ride, do not be surprised if you find the seat next to is empty right about the time the mountain top looms large in front of you.   He will help you in your disaster, but with Him as your pilot, there will be no disasters.

Very true. The sad part of this is that many who say they are a Christian have Jesus Christ sitting in the wrong seat.

Don't fret because the Lord is faithful to work upon each and every one our Father delivers into His hand. What seems like darkness is only that time which precedes the dawning of joy, when the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in his wings. The prophets bore witness of the decrees and promises of the Lord time and again and it is good for us to visit them often.

There is a morbid fascination with the estate of others and this is a snare of the flesh, that way which seems right to a man but ends in death. It's a fountain of grumbling and discontent delivering strife, not life. Do not sit in judgment of our neighbor unless we are found guilty and are trespassers ourselves. Has the Lord revealed the secrets of their hearts to us? Do we know His will and purpose for our neighbor, whether they are brethren or a stranger?

I was judged by others and found to be lacking but in the fullness of time, the Lord revealed His hand and what was reserved in secret when they judged me was revealed for all to see. Their house is now abandoned and many who judged me harshly fell away. Only a few remain.

If Jesus is your co-pilot, you are sitting in the wrong seat.

I am the pilot of this my plane.
I am expected to know how.
I am responsible how I fly.
God is my navigator.
I read His flight plan, KJV.
He gives me course changes and  direction.
I listen, and He directs, through the H.S.
Through storms or fog, when I cannot see.
I trust His direction, He made the map.
He makes straight my path!
I am safe following Him.
He leads me home.

When the song "Jesus Take The Wheel" came out I said, "Wonderful!! Someone has written a song about my long time thought!"  By then I had figured out that each time I took the wheel there was a "crash and burn" episode in my life.

I fear that many in the pulpit, teaching and preaching, also have the Lord sitting in the wrong seat.  They are held even more accountable for this than the pew sitter.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
