Hebrews 11:25 (NASB)
choosing rather to endure ill-treatment with the people of God than to enjoy the temporary pleasures of sin,

      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
‘the temporary pleasures of sin’
If sin is evil why is it that evil has any pleasure in it at all? Shouldn’t evil be, dark, cruel and full of all sorts of unpleasant things with no redeeming qualities in it?
It is quite true evil as it is in itself has no redeeming value in it, including pleasure..  But evil, in a creation that has both good and evil in it, for such is this creation... For when God added light to the darkness, light being the good, darkness being the evil, for it is not called iniquity till the law is manifested....
Wherefore can evil wrongly use the things of good to manifest a degree of temporary pleasure until evil has used and consumed all the good it can act upon...
This is the temporary pleasure scripture speaks of... For at the end of the age the judgment will come, which is a separating of the good from the evil...  Each will be left to itself, the good will not be encumbered with evil and vise versa, evil will be left to its own devices with nothing to feed upon but itself..  Which then will be a exposing of what evil is by nature, which is a contrary to all things..  Even to itself it is contrary, which is an insanity beyond insanity... Which is what the very nature of evil is... A eternal contrary to all...
(To be left up to the reader to bear witness or not)...
Be blessed all, as we pursue Him, Not me
The created elements were of no evil... for God has said
1 John 1:5
5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
KJV
this statement made after the fall of satan and man! God says that we must rightly divide the Scripture and this is one main division (no sin and sin)... So knowing this about God then this is to understood
Gen 2:1-3
 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
KJV
God would not sanctify evil thus darkness did not represent evil in the beginning of creation... simply because there was none in heaven or on earth from which God blessed...
No it is written quite clearly that God has no part with evil and God created the darkness thus there can be no evil in that darkness before fall... otherwise you are claiming God made evil and sanctified and blessed it... Surely this is beyond you to say?
In fact biblical truth is what we use to know that evil can not nor ever will come from God
James 3:12
12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.
KJV
So neither can sin be found in God!
Two possibilities lie before us;
God created the evil we see in this creation...
Or
God used that which already had evil in it...
One would put evil into God, one not...
The question then would be, where did that evil come from?...
Scripture does tell us this also....
Be blessed in your pursuing of Him..
Then you are being disobedient to the Scriptures which says you are to give no place to the father of lie/evil
Eph 4:27
27 Neither give place to the devil.
KJV
Rev 20:10-15
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
KJV
God had to create a place for evil it is the lake of fire that will be an eternal place for the devil and all his followers....
Lie satan fathered
John 8:44
44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
KJV
when he did not want to give the glory of himself back to God- so in his heart he said I will be God... however he knowing he was began, like as we know we began, and that our beginning was from One Who has never began... makes the lie a perversion of it's own stupid!
Isa 14:12-15
12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
It is the Scripture that dictates to the heart not the heart to the Scripture... or else there are no absolutes... That is why God wrote it down and the science of written interpretation is an objective format to allow the Scripture to teach itself toward that objective truth... it's not what I feel, think or any other outside source but the thus sayeth The Lord for God cannot lie
John 17:17
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
KJV
thus Scripture is an objective format upon which we must renew our minds to It's leading...
    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.
      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.
      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.
      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.
      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”
    • Understanding the Enemy!
      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!
      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.
      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,
      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.
      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!
    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,
      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.
      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."
      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
